Yeah I love B-Spec. Done more of that than A-Spec.

Anyone know if the ability to do it over a webpage is ever going to happen? Seems like a feature that never surfaces to me.

I just like watching the race which I doubt you'd do on the webpage anyway, great fun watching the action, I find.

Man I hope they improve the sound effects. When you hit/brush other cars it just sounds so random. Like you've dropped a box of bibles.

Also, there's no confirmation when exiting a race, just quit out accidently :( Was winning as well. Considering it has the slowest menu system with more branching than an MMO character I'm surprised there's no confirmation.

Some of the sounds are pretty good, the whining of a supercharger or race gearbox for example are decent but so much of the sound is terrible esp the engine notes - one area F3 is better for sure.

Pretty sure there is a confirmation to quit a race in both A & B spec

Who would wanna use a clutch with paddles?!

And yeah, I stopped playing racing games for ages as I found them boring, then I got a wheel! Currently rotating GT5, F1 2010 and Hot Pursuit*.

* Not tried that with the wheel, probably won't.

Doesn't matter, AFAIK the PS3 version doesn't have wheel support.

Try this http://apps.facebook.com/takeittothetrack

Basically tou have some little games on there, go to the shot in the dark one, play thru it and then you need to set 4 x grudges and you get a bonus car code - some hella cool jag xj13

I cant seem to get my grudges to show so im blaming the MAC :(

Went to all the effort of doing this, only to doscover it has no year, so can't be used in the Expert Classic Car race. Poot.

I just can't work out how that would work, unless it relises on the PS3 being on at home?

Anyone got this to work yet? I played both games (stuttery as hell and took ages to load) and setup 4 grudges but I don't think the grudges registered. It says I've unlocked "Grade 3 cars" but no code or details. What the hell is that?

It does, apparently your PS3 will need to be on. I imagine it'll be a simple Flash of the map with car indicators.

Another B-Spec question I've been meaning to ask: When you issue an order does he only do what you say for the duration of the turning circle and then go back to how he was driving? Or does he do it from them on until you say other.

I don't get if I need to keep ordering the "push" order constantly or just a few times is enough!

I started up a second driver and paid a bit more attention to their stats when creating. Went for a bit of a hot head with good cornering and braking. The good news is that your B-Spec level is independent of driver's level, so I can enter the new guy in Level 6 races. Interestingly, the new guy was crap in a FR car but did better in a FF than my level 5 guy, so their character traits obviously do effect their driving.

All drivers share the level? That's great news. My first is a cool calm calculating guy, I'll make sure my next is a total hot head and maybe he'll be able to drive the ovals without bottling out on the bends.

Has anyone come across any races where you can enter more than one B-Spec driver?

Once you get to lvl 22 events you'll do 20 laps or more and start seeing fuel consumption. My lvl 20 bob is totally drained after 10 laps in these events and needs all the help he can get...

Took me a while to realise that the code is tucked away at the bottom right of the main screen. Have you looked there?

Niiice, I didn't realise you got any money for those, thought it was just all leaderboard stuff.

Just the races, the first 2 sets were pretty tricky but for the 3rd one they have removed all the restrictions so you can do them in true GT fashion - make your car 3 times as powerful as the competition and blow them away!

they have also removed the restrictions from the second set too.

i was having real trouble getting gold on the focus and rx7 events, but just upgrading the tyres makes them both dead easy.

hopefully future events wont all be unrestricted though, havent tried the rally one yet, as i suck at them generally, but the other 4 are simple.
