Hey guys! I'm kinda new round here, so hope I get to a good start!

Although I get the most praise for my dragons and monsters in the art community, I've been drawing my own characters for nearly my whole life and I thought maybe you guys might like to show off yours!

Some examples of my characters can be found here:

fantasy character 1

fantasy character 2

Now I'd love to see yours!

I was expecting you to post your 1000/2000 characters!

I'm not particularly pleased with them anymore. They were fun to do and were good (in my eyes) at the time, but looking back, it's more just evidence that quantity < quality

Mr Marijeanne, where was the snakescarf girl from? Was she from some concept art for the Airmail animation? Regardless, I love her - I do wish you'd post your work on here more often.

Also, yey Shakino. Nice to see you makin' a post Nikki!

Yeah, she was from an early version of Airmail. That particular animation went through a lot of changes during production, so I ended up with a ton of concept sketches for characters/environments that didn't quite make it to the final film. You like her snake scarf? She's got funky cool puppy shoes too ^_^

There sure is some fiiiine talent on this board. And I don't mean that in the 'sexy' sense. Although I'm sure you are all sexy too. Um. Er...

HEY! I done a character! Or two.

This here be The Carrotty Kid and his wise old sensei Master Che-Ri, stars of their very own animated, three-minute pilot episode, made by Cosgrove Hall Films. Look, here it is now. And here's his own super-duper website! HOORAY!

While these here are the Jet Pets, my latest project that I designed, but got Mike Whaite, one of the animators at CHF to draw up for me as he is much better than me, as you can see. CURSE HIM.

And that's the end of that chapter.

Lovely thread. When I learn to draw, I'm totally committing copyright infringement on all of you

That being said, I do have some characters of my own, but they exist only in text format (though not for long, 's soon as I finalise my script and shove it at my friend Claire. Then some of them will come to life in a stylised comicsy way, can't wait to see what she does with them). I'd describe them, only they're super-secret :P

Speaking of copyright, anyone can have my idea for a few characters i found ages ago

(then i'll sue when it becomes popular. :) )

It's a... wait for it. Hakisack game (probably work best on the Wii) :)

Looking back on these now, (they're about 5 years old) they are so cliched and bandwagon manga.
