Just to add I'm using the DSTT and it's blinding. Not had any issue with any games at all. Managed to copy over my saves from my original carts using the method here and the linked software off there. Piece of cake as I use a Mac and the FTP setup is a piece of cake

It's just that most people seem to think the R4 is the best card when it isn't.

So what is, and what is better about it?? I have an R4 and it is great. Im not bothered about large SD card support, because i am fine with a 2gB.

Can somebody help me. I've just got a R4DS and a 2GB SanDisk MicroSD Card. I loaded the current firmware on it (English 1.18) but when I put it in the DS I get the R4 logo on the top screen and an error message in chinese on the botton screen. But, if I put the SD card into my M3DS Simply I get the same thing but the error message is in english! It says 'The hardware is not compatible'. What am I doing wrong?

Have you got a site url that has the DSTT kernel files available for download? I don't know what piece of string the official site is serving them off but my mobile phone could do it faster.

The latest kernel for DS TT is v1.15 according to the official site but as you say its as slow as a week in jail, I got it from here instead:

Hello, has anyone got any tips for using savsender?

I'm getting an error message that it can't read my savsender.conf file - I've labelled the folders correctly, I've made sure there are no extra spaces, the static IP and port forwarding are correct, and my DS is definitely so I have no idea what's going wrong.

I'm on a mac, so I thought it might be to do with the formatting of the savsender.conf text file - I've tried Windows Roman 1, unicode 8, unicode 16, OS X Western, but they all seem to fail. Any ideas, anyone?

Do you suppose it's because of the DSTT card I use?

At first I thought it was when I bumped the DS too hard, since on one occasion I took my specs off and they fell on the system and it froze, another time was when I stood up and moved it quickly.

Except today it did when I changed menus on a game.

I did drop the system a week or so ago, though it was in its protective case, so i thought nothing of it.

It just freezes, keeps the screen running, and the sound on a loop.

Any idea why this is happening? Has it happened to anyone else? is the card starting to die, or is it my actual machine which is starting to die?

Thanks for any advice. Really annoyed, since I only ever play my DS anymore.

I had quite a bit of trouble with my TT freezing until I formated my SD card. I copied all my files and the TT menu over to the PC first, then simply copied them back after the format and it's been ok since. It's worth a try.

My M3 lite has died.

I left it on a table on holiday, and a drink was split, just water, but still.

The DS works fine, and games play fine, but if I try to load a game up off the M3, it just goes to a black screen. Its all very sad ;)

Still, I can get myself a slot1 card now I guess. Has anything passed the R4 as the thing to buy?

I've been using the Edge card for a few days now, and for the cost I'm very impressed with it - it plays games which the R4 had to have them arm7-ed no problem and has a much nicer GUI. And being able to use a 4gb card is great.

My 8GB SanDisk microSD card arrived from Play.com a couple days ago, for a decent price of £17.99. I had to buy the card as my 74 DS games and 42 GBA games (of which I have originals of each and every one of, I might add) no longer fitted on my 4GB one. It works perfectly in my DSTT card, and I still have 3.8GB leftover.

Thanks for the advice... The freezing seemed to stop on its own?

Anyway, is DSMaster the best Game gear emulator on the DS? I want to play the Phantasy Star Gaiden games in English, and hate emulating on a PC.

Also, the readme file says I need to use DLDI PATCHER to patch the emulator file. Is this true? I'm using a DSTT cartridge. I thought they don't need patching?

You don't need to patch but the author doesn't know which card you have.
