Would fucking see them but i'll be in holiday doing my thing, in the sun, on the beach, with some hot bitches.

I'll be listening to Liquid Swords the whole time though, so don't worry.

Pork swords more like...

Is anyone going to any of the Wu-Tang gigs next month? I just booked me and my mates some tickets for the Manchester one. Friday the 6th of July at the Apollo. They play London the night before, and T In The Park a couple of days after. I've seen them before, likes, and it's just a massive squad of dudes shouting indecipherable noise into mics, but given the right amount of substance consumption, I'm sure I'll have a killer time.

Would love to go but I have no money for the summer.

I'm hoping that one of you hood rats can help me identify the hip hop tune that samples the bass line off the tune below. I think it's by Porn Theatre Ushers, or Smut Peddlars maybe. All I can tell you is that the tune starts with some girl saying, '(Something) in the summer, (Something) in the winter' and then has the rapper banging on about fucking the baby sitter, and shitting in the kitty litter. Or something. Anyway, suffice to say I love it, and if someone can post up an uncensored version of the track then you're a diamond. In exchange, I offer the original track, which is excellent too. Thanks!

That would be the Porn Theatre Ushers, like you said.

If you hold on for a moment I'll upload it.

I made some lists ages ago on Emusic which may give you some pointers - List One and List Two. There's been quite a bit more stuff arrive since then though.

Thanks a lot, some good stuff there. I like emusic, it doesn't make things too easy, you still have to dig a bit.

It's worth getting an RSS feed set up for the 17 Dots blog - every day they have the best of the new releases on Emusic and some classics from the crates. Extremely useful.

Boom. Definitely feeling this new Little Brother song:

Good Clothes

Big brass and triumphant strings back up in this bitch for 2007, innit? It's a good look!

Thanks for the LB song.

For anyone wanting to hear the new Pharoahe Monch album, you can stream the whole thing at his Myspace Page. Loving his cover of Welcome to the Terrordome

I think overall it's a corker of an album. Didn't expect to like it quite so much. As someone said a few pages (or months, not really sure) back, Mr Monch really is some kind of don emcee - real verbal authority. A nice handful of decent, soulful beats doesn't hurt either. "What It Is" in particular is pure undiluted badass, one of my favourite hiphop tracks of the moment.

I want an EP of some of the tracks that didn't make the cut. Monch must be sitting on years worth of good shit.
