the waterfall in creek is the tears of the people without the maps.

;) Quite.

I've decided to ask people to leave the party if they haven't got the maps. Harsh maybe, and something I'd think twice about, but they're not exactly that expensive considered the quality you get in return.

Cry me a creek.

Just went back to SP mode and completed the broadcast room 'Charlie don't Surf' on Veteran :)

Instead of dashing forward into the office, I went right hugging the walls, throwing a flash bang in the general direction of where the enemy spawn from then lobbed a 'nade that way whilst running 'n' gunning till I got to the corridor with all the doors closed.

Once there it's just a matter of picking off the few stragglers before the dialogue pops up. Easy from there on end.

Now I'm getting battered at the start of War Pig! :)

Oh also just nipped on for some MTDM on Creek and came top with 17 kills, 2 assist and 1 death! Though thought best I quit whilst ahead and go to bed.

Got past that bit now :)

Now trying to make my way back across the field in the next section, 'Heat'

Go through the hut on the right at the start, RUN across the field, sticking to the right all the way,

RUN from the top-right of the level diagonally down the hill, through the burning building so that you are now at the left hand side of the first building from part 1 of the mission, it should be easy as pie from there.

I probably shot less than 5 people on this level, I just bolted it down to the chopper!

That's what I've been trying to do but there are 3-4 waves of the enemy:

1) The group in the barn which isn't an issue clearing out

2) The lot traversing across the field left to right (about 5) that I can take out

3) The second lot traversing toward the top part of the field to the right.

3) Those by the house opposite as you hug the right of the field. Even laying prone they seem to hit and kill me!

Calling in an airstrike to hit a spot is a waste of time. Oh and why do your teammates seem to stay way behind you as you leg it into the field?

Here's how I did it.

After you've dropped the bloke on that grassy bit, plant the explosive inbetween the cars, also plant the C4 there which you'll use later.

There's an alleyway you can hide in, hide in it right near its end (if I remember correctly I think it's the one you enter the area from). You'll see people running past it, shoot them with the Dragunov.

The chopper will arrive, leg it out of the alleyway, and head towards the bloke. You may need to crawl around in the grass to avoid getting shot but remember you don't have much time. Set off the C4, chuck some stun and flash grenades whilst you leg it past the chopper and pick the bloke up. Leg it back with the bloke, the end.

Hide in one of the wee huts (the one of the left i used) and move from left to right as the nades come crashing against the hut and shooting the guys on that come out of the first chopper only... Think there is a vid on youtube. Its a bit shit but the difficulty ramp us makes it impossible to enjoy otherwise

Yep hide behind the dodgems or...

Duck back to behind the buildings opposite haven laid C4 around the place and claymores. There's a spot which will involve you twiddling your thumbs for a good few minutes. The occasional grenade may come in your direction but just move slightly to avoid getting hit. Either way you'll be out of sight and no one will come for you. Once the chopper lands, rush round toward it, hitting the C4 remote which should incapacitate the enemies - allowing you enough time to rush to the hill, pick up your mate and use the chopper as cover to take him in and complete the mission.

Edit: what ghandi said!

This is exactly where I'm stuck as well. On the second-hardest setting.

My checkpoint is right before the enemy reinforcements arrive in four helos. I can pick off eight or nine of them as they fast-rope down, and by hiding behind the dodgems I can survive long enough for the Chinook to arrive, but I keep getting killed as I try to run back across to get the Captain.

Playing through SP Campaign again the weekend made me realise how they've kinda patiched some of the MP maps and I reckon the fallout buildings (like those used in Bloc - prior to the Ferris Wheel bit) would make a great map in its own right! (with all the flakey snow looking stuff falling about). Also how Bog looks so different in daylight.

Managed to complete Heat last night by some sheer luck I swear. Now at the stage 'No fighting in the War Room'. I forgot how the corridoor after the staircase can be a bitch to navigate because you got guys either side of the corridoor hiding behind crates.

Tried doing that Warpig mission on veteran or at least I'm pretty sure that it was and completed it. The strange thing was I didn't get any achievements. Are there time limits on levels or something cos' it took me ages. Spent ages looking for the IV thingy and the Javelin near the end but that shouldn't make a difference. Is there anyway of finding out what difficulty your on when your resuming the game? I hate the thought of having to trudge through the level again.
