£15m i can understand, but £12m?..i wouldn' be happy with, i guess with a fit Gerrard he would have got less time playing, as he only made the bench at the moment. I would have liked to have seen Benny or Sturridge as part of that deal.

Well he's 28 so would have no resale value. £12m is about right and at least we didn't lose money on him.

And I still don't think he's that proven in the Premiership! Just shot to fan favourite after those 6 goals in 5 or whatever it was.
