I'd happily hold onto Carroll for now - I just get the feeling if he can bag a few then he could go on a really good run of form if he stays injury-free. He has got to start upping his game a little though; when he came on against Bolton he just seemed a bit... well... anonymous.

People saying now that Yossi is off to Arsenal on loan.

I keep reading that the first refusal on Hazzard is true. So if it really is then basically he's ours next year. That's something to look forward too. Can't imagine why we'd stick that deal In there if we weren't interested.

Surely he could refuse any offer from us, even if Lille accept it. I don't think first refusals mean anything. Not saying he would refuse or anything, but I don't think it is anything like a done deal for next season.

The deal might be pretty much done already, they only just published that he handed in the request, didn't say when he did!

surely we can't accept it, we haven't planned for his departure unless form some miracle theres an adequate replacement on standby ready to join then our squad would be weaker for it. Chelsea can piss off, we gave them our Fernando and it will take an equally daft bid to give them our Raul :(

Sounds like the transfer request was made public just so we all know he wanted to leave. Basically confirmed the move. Ah well, a growing fan favourite but not a massive loss.
