Oh my gosh! I've seen him on LFCTV (my brothers got in) and he just looks amazing at times!

I was coming in to say I'm already excited for the game and this has pumped my excitement up by at least a factor of 12! I was hoping to see some changes, Sterling would be amaze...

Went to the youth cup game last season against Southend and safe to say he was the best player by far, even though they were U-18s who were all massive and he was 3 years younger at the time, he demolished them.

Also a bit of a joker on Twitter.

That's the issue for me...he's 32? Hasn't he been a bit injury ravaged the last few years. I don't recall him exactly setting the place on fire at Cardiff.

However I've got complete faith in Kenny - even if he is still at £95,000pw...

35 appearances for Cardiff last season in the league, scored 11 including some corkers. I guess because you don't follow anything outside of the Premiership?

11 goals in a lower league; not a great return for £95,000pw (regardless of who's paying). Even head case Marlon King scored more, and he didn't get a goal for Coventry until December.

Didn't set the world on fire then. Maybe we should have snapped up Danny Graham.

Wasn't very injury ravaged with 35 appearances. He's never been one to be out for a long period of time and is pretty consistent year after year.

Anyways, it's clear you don't pay attention to the Championship because he was brilliant last year, set up a fair few goals and dragged Cardiff along. 11 goals is more than fine in the role he played and adapted himself to, when combined with assists and how he had to do so much work with some not-so-great players around him - if the service isn't there..

For the quality of player his wages are excessive, but then if you turned around and looked at the bench as saw Ngog or Bellamy who would you fancy to bring on and get a goal. It's wouldn't be Ngog in my eyes.

Long term another striker is needed for the squad, but good strikers cost and the club has already spent big this summer in other areas. Bellamy would be a decent squad addition for this season, but he isn't a long term solution.

My thoughts exacty. If this team gels the way we hope they do and achieve sole success this season, next season our top priority should be a third top class striker and a right winger.

So I'd gladly take Bellamy on a free for a year

If you have an iPhone or iPad you can watch it for free (assuming your Sky Sports is actually on Sky and not elsewhere)

I'm off to a gig so it's not all a loss but they don't have free wifi in there and normal signal is shit. I'll just check it out later if there's some highlights somewhere

Pretty decent on League I guess, last match was on Saturday, Northampton v Cheltenham (2:3), I try and keep up.
