That was well funny. Wenger is such a sore loser. Well they never lost but you know what I mean.

Obviously gutted the way it ended and clearly emotions were running high, but was pretty poor form from Wenger there. Daglish's reply was funny though.

Just got back from the game, fuck me that was all sorts of epic. The first half didn't hint at that. Aching all over, voice gone, point definitely earned in adversity.

That shot that apparently Kuyt had from near the halfway line right after Arse scored, that the coverage managed to completely miss and cut to the keeper just saving it, and the pundits completely failed to mention, anyone see it?

Yes, that was our end. He drilled it and their keeper looked a bit scared for a split second when it came to him.

The pundits didn't mention it, but the commentary team did. I think the events at the end took away most of the punditry of the other talking points.

This BBC article seems to suggest the that Stoke wouldn't get a place in the Europa League if they were FA Cup Runners Up as City would effectively be taking the place as Winners (if they didn't qualify for the Champs League by finishing 5th).

So 6th Place looks like getting a Europa League spot if City win the Cup and finish 5th.

The Guardian had a piece the other day that Birmingham may not be allowed in Europe, much like how Pompey where told the same last year. Click me for the story.

Kuyt also set a new record for the latest goal ever scored in a Premiership game!

Also belated thanks to smd + d_s for answering my earlier q, saw it on motd eventually, looked like it was prob going over anyway.

That camera angle didn't help, it was going to hit the crossbar but it scared the crap out of whatshisface.

Yesterday was the best finish to a game I've seen since Peru Vs Argentina in the last WC qualifiers. That had an outrageous shot from miles out that nearly went in but the camera almost missed too. Shame Kenny didn't do a massive bellyflop on the touchline a la Maradona though.

We technically have a much easier run that Spurs with all top 5 teams played apart from them. But in saying that we haven't performed against the temas lower than us so now is the time to change that.

Wins in all remaining games please Liverpool.

Reports in The Times (apparently) that we have signed a new kit deal with Warrior Sports to replace Adidas worth £25m per year (outstripping ManU/Nike's deal of £23m per year). Warrior are big in hockey and lacrosse kits and is part of New Balance. Be interesting to see what kind of football kits they can come up with.

From their LinkedIn blurb...

Headquartered in Warren, Michigan, Warrior Sports is recognized as one of the sporting goods industry’s premier manufacturers of innovative, high performance, cutting-edge equipment, footwear and apparel for lacrosse and hockey athletes of all ages and abilities. Founded in 1992 by former champion lacrosse player David Morrow, Warrior was acquired by privately-held New Balance Athletic Shoe, Inc. in February 2004. The 2007 acquisition of Boston-based Brine Sporting Goods further established Warrior Sports as the dominant force in the lacrosse world.

Warrior is dedicated to a core set of philosophies and strengths: technical superiority, grassroots marketing, original and creative youthful expression, and strong partnerships with retailers and suppliers. Since creating the first titanium shafts in 1992, Warrior has constantly pushed the envelope in the evolution of the game. By taking a fresh, energetic approach to the game, and employing young, enthusiastic lacrosse players like Jesse Hubbard and Mark Millon, Warrior set out to change the game – the best gear in the world, developed by the best players in the world.
