Unforunately I managed to miss the game due to a bloody 3 hour train journey, though I'll be looking forward to the highlights tonight.

I think Suarez's actions against Ghana marred him somewhat for me but I did love watching him in the world cup. Just as a neutral, I'm glad to see him tearing it up in this league now as well. I kind of suspected he'd have a field day with the United defence coming into the game. Would that be an accurate assessment?

Giggs was poor today. Mis placed crosses and not a great free kick.

A great servant for the club, a great example - but against a fit young team you're just too old there Giggsy.

Oof the Carragher tackle was really awful.

Still good that he was booked and that the ref "dealt with it at the time". Best just leave it now, the ref made his decision.

Nani ran into Carragher's outstretched leg, it was the invisible sniper who injured him soon after.

Apparently Ferguson is refusing to speak to the media after the match + has told the players not to either. A break of PL rules apparently?

Extend his touchline ban, that'll do.

was going to mention that too

i respect his achievements but he comes off as such a twat at times. you'd think after the career he's had that he would show some grace in defeat

And he's a "Sir" too apparently.

Thing is when has he done this before? It's kind of out of character for him. He seems to be losing it, at the time that the team is losing it? Could spell disaster for them, or more likely he's trying to shut up shop and create a "The World VS Us" attitude to drive the players through their dip in form and results.

RT @DTguardian: Jamie Carragher waited outside #MUFC dressing room to apologise to Nani for his studs-up challenge #LFC

That's how you do it.

OOOF! - is this real?!

Sounds like 'Anfield Cluedo'.

That was the idea :eyebrows:

Didn't he do this at the 4-1?

Not really out of character at all, and if you cast your mind back a couple of years you might remember what happened the last time you battered us!

Suarez was amazing today, Mereiles (or however the hell you spell it) too.

It was a bad tackle, and blatantly a straight red. Could not have happened to a nicer person though- He is an absolute despicable person, a true disgrace to the modern game. That said, I hope he isnt injured, that has no place in the modern game either. Hopefully he gets away with just a really painful leg and no injury, perhaps that will teach him not to be such a c**t.

My first response was "what a big bloody baby" when he hobbled over to the ref then dived onto the floor. he has cried wolf too many times!

what the hell is that pic from Dino ?

Apparently it was photoshopped. Came from twitter.

Somehow I got grief for posting it in the Manure thread. I'm not sure how that happened, such small mindedness over there with their foul language. Most uncouth, no class.

It's possibly because no one likes you. In any thread.

So you agree with me and also prove that lack of class? I don't know who you are, another Man U fan?

Dear oh dear...

See Suarez getting a cheeky pull of Rafael's hair in the ensuing melee. :D

I did chuckle at that, but I've definitely got a feeling Suarez's feelings are going to get the better of him soon. He was having a massive go at the linesman in the first half (before the goal) which definitely could have turned into a card, I'm glad Phil Dowd only warned him for it. Can't forget the dude got banned in Holland for biting someone's ear, might be a matter of time before he does something rash again.
