I can understand why after the Carragher/Nani debacle he didnt want to send Rafael off but thats a terrible challenge.

Frantic end to an amazing half for Liverpool - Suarez/Kuyt and Mereiles have been amazing. Gerrard looks completely off the pace but it hasnt mattered. Our passing and movement has been the best I have seen all season.

Great to have a forward who is comfortable on the ball, can pick it up anywhere on the pitch and keep us on the offensive. For all Torres's strengths he was never capable of that, apart from the odd outrageous turn which left a defender behind.
