Take that you mercenary scum. Also David Schneider:

"It's not about loyalty, it's about winning things"- Torres agrees £70m move from Chelsea to Pittsburgh Steelers #superbowl

Fuck it... Confidence is back in the team. Never at any point today did we look like we were going to slip up. The belief is back and the player a playing for each other. I just hope it isn't too late for a push for the top four.

Oh and:

King Kenny = King Kenny

Sammy Lee = Ronnie Moran

Steve Clarke = Roy Evans

Bootroom is back baby.

One thing I'm very happy to see as well is that we didn't just sit back on a 1-0 lead and we keep going forward when we had the chance. I think under Rafa and Hodgson we'd have defended that to the death and probably given away a goal.

Also - £50m, what a big fat waste of money.

That was a terrible debut Torres was utterly shit.

Brilliant, there's the romance in the game Fernando. Up your arse you moody boy.

Using our existing squad we beat a Chelase team that deployed their £70m of talent who were both shit.

I even liked how Kenny kept Suarez in reserve. He didn't blink or throw him in, he's easing him into the team. Not just throwing him on like Ancelotti did.

A brilliant day. Onwards and upwards.

Mine is (handily) avatar sized though, if anyone was looking for one... ;)

We need a gif really, cycling the pictures of £50m down the toilet.

He's not a waste of money though is he, if they can afford it (they obviously can) then they've bought one of the best finishers in the world. We all know he can play like he did today at times, he needs space and we didn't give him any! But he'll probably prove to be great for them once they get back on form.

Lets not be bitter and just move on!

He's playing for a rival. I don't wish he'll do well. Call me old fashioned but if he does make them stronger that's a bad thing.

It was a good victory today and I really like the Way Kenny is lining the team up, no-one was 100% sure how we were going to play or what formation we were going to use. That adaptability makes a team really difficult to prepare for and it's fair to say that we have been very predictable for the past 18 months.
