The overall performance was a big improvement on the Fulham game and Kenny seems to have brought us some much needed luck which is nice. Both of our goals were a little on the lucky side, but we never looked like losing the lead once 1-0 up in stark contrast to the Fulham game.

Having the three centre backs seems to solidify our defence, Stoke created pretty much nothing all game.

You can't "bring luck". He's bringing something better than that. Same as Alex Ferguson doesn't bring Man Utd luck, theres no such thing. Hard to know what but if I knew i'd be a great football manager too!

3 wins in a row, and against teams we are likely to trip up against.

What teams aren't we likely to trip up against recently?

We might lose a load of games now, but i'm so happy to have a bit of positivity today in the team. Torres is a world class striker but it's almost like the baggage that comes with him tied us down! Now I didn't want him to leave, i'm not going to bullshit, but its got to be a good thing to have people who have their heart in playing for Liverpool.

And we're finally back in positive goal difference!

2214: Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish: "We're all delighted with that result - and three clean sheets in a row is a great return. If you don't concede, you're always in with a chance of a win. Everyone's pleased for Luis [suarez] too. He hasn't even trained with us yet but he showed what he's all about tonight and I can't wait to get working with him."

He's not even trained yet!

I am! I like the cut of the owners' jib, I like Kenny, the transfer window was crazy, Suarez was one of my WC favourites. All just a breath of fresh air. Really looking forward to see how we shape up.

Cliché to say but it feels like a big weight has been lifted now Torres has gone.

I feel like I've lost a moody, high maintenance, beautiful girlfriend, who made you feel she deserved better and you were always walking on eggshells so as not to upset her.

Now I feel I can relax and have a bit of fun.
