1-0! What the hell happened?

Seen it three times and no idea what happened.

Nando shoots, deflects onto the post, ball comes back in, as it goes over the keeper, he gets his fingertips to it just as Pantisil tries to clear, puts it over his foot and makes him slice it into the nice.

There you go Robin, that's why it's not 0-0 anymore.

Was a pretty poor and nervous performance in the end. Fulham deserved a draw from the game even taking into account the disallowed goal for Torres that was not offside.

Hopefully the win will help to build confidence. Somehow we are up to 7th now.

Just watched the highlights on Sky. Nervous stuff at the end, some good defending and both keepers were on form.

The linesman for the disallowed goal; can we get a bit of skirt in eh, eh?

Seems that we were a bit lucky yet pleased at the win.

The Pantsil thing seemed really strange. Johnson got fouled, then Gerrard hacked Pansil, the Johnson dived in, then Gerrard seemed to smack him in the face a bit. Pansil goes a bit mad, yet had the ref given the original freekick on Johnson it would have been fine. Then Pansil gets booked for being annoyed that he's been smacked about.

Yeah more women officials please!

Really? I though both Agger and Skrtel looked suspect. Aggers positioning at times was well off, and Skrtel needs to learn there's times to stand up and defend and that every ball is not winable. The boy goes to ground far to often.

Well I meant more the team last ditch scrapping defending near the end to get the win. Note my likening to Skrtel as a "tramp on chips" ;)

Actually there was one point where by he went in a bit eagerly, fell, and was spun around on his back. I quite fancied seeing a gif of that :D

I'd like Shelvey to either play in central midfield or behind the striker(s). He's not going to make the most of his ability on the flanks and it'd be a waste to have him as an anchorman or deep playmaker.

Liverpool have rejected an audacious £40 million bid from Chelsea for Fernando Torres as the champions attempt to kick-start their faltering attempts to strengthen Carlo Ancelotti’s squad before Monday’s transfer deadline.

A Liverpool spokesman said: "Chelsea have made an offer for Fernando, which has been rejected. The player is not for sale."

That's on Sky. I've always been of the opinion the Sky hate Liverpool (I think it was Andy Gray that really permeated this opinion of mine), so my belief is that their is fuck all to that story other than some shit stirring from Sky.

Fans always get their knickers in a twist about the supposed bias of media organisations. Typically us fans are the least fair minded and objective observers. But it was pretty clear Gray hated Rafa and zonal marking and whatnot. Somebody on twitter was talking about a gala awards dinner, where Rafa was given a big award. Every table gave our favourite Spanish nerd a standing ovation, except for Gray's table, which remained stony faced and seated.

They called him the Fat Spanish Waiter off air.

I believe the story, but I don't think it would happen for the simple reason that there's no need for the owners to sell, and they must know that selling Torres would be the worst message they could possibly send to the fans.

Edit: It's a Balague rather than a Sky story and he's a confirmed Liverpool fan

Tuesday:

Just heard that a big name will be leaving LFC on Friday. Don't want to start malicious rumours with guessing who. But true :(

Today:

Torres deal all but done, Anelka coming in on loan. Suarez almost done and Ashley Young too.

I refuse to believe he'd leave us now though, especially when Chelsea aren't exactly guaranteed Champions League either next season. If he leaves, it's surely much more likely to be in the summer.
