Finally we are playing some good football.

I can see the wolves fans now, going on about how woman don't know the offside rule, but fairplay to her, she got it right. Glad to see Meireles wasn't selfish there.

Also Kenny is clearly the way forward, he's managing to get a half decent performance from Poulson

i might have not been Daglish's biggest supporter but i have to give him credit he's gotten that Torres fella scoring again. Lets pray that he can work the same magic with the rest of the squad

If only he knew how to win the league...

Yep. Torres was clearly clattered into earlier, didn't win a free kick, then we get a freekick against for a similar challenge where by they had that decent chance.

Torres is just getting pissed off being kicked all over the place and the Wolves defenders getting away scot free. I didn't think they were a dirty team Mick...

Yeah the game has been very rough. I think Torres has been a bit unlucky with some of the decisions too, but him giving Spearman the ball after his goal was funny :D

Probably the best first half performance away from home I remember, lets hope we dont give away a stupid goal now.

I'd decided, before the match, to use Murphy's law to it's fullest extent. This always works with football. My favourite time for doing this was when hammering Mcmanaman in that game assumed Celtic in Europe, when he ran half the length of the pitch in the last minute and slotted home.

Andy Gray has made and excellent point on how were now getting players to actually make forward runs. This was something missing under Hoggle who, if he'd been in charge here, would have just tried to contain forever.

We need a sustained period of possession right now please.

Stunning bit of possession that led to the goal.

Barca couldn't do that on a horrible muddy pitch I'm sure.

Meireles was brilliant, we all knew how stupid it was when Hodgesloan had him playing on the right. Vindicated.

Elated, relieved, and some of Torres link up play was great ;)
