I'm impressed with that banner. Looks great. How big is it?

It's about 1x1.5m, decent size for a couple of people to hold up I reckon.

I don't like the words. They're clumsy.

As for the apostrophe, well it's caused much discussion in the house, we're evenly split (I'm with apostrophe but fuck it, it's done now and I'm proud of it).

No apostrophe is right. Same with CDs and DVDs - there's no contraction between the last letter and the 's', and it's not possessive of anything. </copywriter>

I can't wait, just hope the team are up for it as much as the fans are.

Ah fair enough, so many mean the other way. But as Eighties in word form is acceptable, I'd just see 80s as the numerical version of it. So it's not a contraction of 1980s, it's a number in its own right.

It's a little sad that the guy who managed Liverpool to their 18th title will likely be the manager when that record is broken.

It was always going to be broken at some stage. Lifting that millstone of "how close the Mancs are to our record" might be one less burden next season. Besides, we're still way ahead on European Cups. :)

That says to me we'll be looking for a left back in this window.
