Don't sack off Gerrard. Based on current play I'd sack off Torres before his worth goes down, cause if he continues to play like he is, it was drop massively.

But only sell to a team outside the Prem.

Who gives a fuck about their reputation? We should definitely think about selling Torres because he's been absolutely fucking awful!

Reina? I don't see how his reputation will have been damaged considering the type of defending he's had in front of him. Torres and Gerrard however, you could argue that you'd be better off cashing in.

Skrtel could be a solid CB for us with more experience, but at the moment he is a bit of a clumsy twat. Agger is still great though.

We need a left back, left and right winger and another striker. If we could bring in 4 top quality players in those position we'd be sound. Unfortunately we can't and we won't.

:rolleyes: Point being is that their value will still be pretty high right now. If you sold your two biggest assets (I'm talking purely cash value here, not actually how useful they are to your current plight) you could bring in a number of decent players as your squad is currently rotten to the core. Gerrard has missed the boat as regards a big money move (he should've left you for Chelsea a couple of seasons ago if he had any sense) so I can't see him going anywhere.

And I'm not on about bringing in Shay Given, even though he has been the best goalie in the prem since Schmeicel. I doubt he'd move anyway what with him being on £5trillion a week or whatever the average wage is at Man City.

Yeah, all of this has been covered before - when it was actually relevant. There's absolutely no point in talking about any of this just now, given our current situation. Kenny might actually understand how to get the best out of either or both of them.

I'd keep Ngog, Skrtel and Mierles because you couldn't doubt their commitment this season, not because they're the best in the world.

I like Ngog and think with the right support he could become a good player. Mierles I hope will now be played in his proper position, and whilst Skrtel has had a pretty rough time this season he did look a good buy when he joined so I'd guess with him it's very much more a case of poor form.

I think (based on commitment) that Kuyt would also stay, though I guess he probably isn't going to be a leading frontman and I would hope we'd get some real width (but then again that's been an issue for many, many years) so maybe he'll drop to being a squad player in future?

What do people think is a realistic scenario during this transfer window?
