Guys, let it go. Rafa fluked one Champions League, spent a shitload of cash, failed to win a premier league and left at the end of what can only be described as a desperately bad season.

And now he's losing at Spurs.

I always maintained that that champions league win gave rafa more time than he otherwise might have had...

I wouldn't blame whomever your manager was at the time, £10m was a high price for a kid and even Ferguson hesitated on spending it. That Southampton got relegated to League 1 and re-negotiated it down to £5m so they'd get the rest we owed right away wasn't something anyone could have foreseen.

Ferguson probably had awesome players at LB.

Just pray he doesn't get Juande Ramos in as your new coach if Hodgson gets sacked!

Somebody has insinuated that Deschamps would be an obvious choice to work with Comoli. Makes some sense I suppose.

Ramos got a new job recently though I think so I'd hope we are safe enough for a while.

Its a bit of an odd declaration, given the only link I can think of is they're both French.

You can bet your ass he'll dick whomever the manager is around if he doesn't like him though. It seems like revisionism of his time at Spurs is in vogue because we're playing well, people seem to forget that he screwed Jol about loads and was such a poor negotiator that Levy took over doing the deals himself.

Against Chelsea there is no way he will leave out Carragher as he is the most experienced. Unfortunately, in his present form, he'll get ripped apart again by Drogba! :(

I hope Torres is at least on the bench tonight, he still needs a confidence boost.

He gets ripped apart by Drogba when he's on top form!

Hmm, Carragher. Does this mean he might not start on Sunday?

I'd prefer

Johnson - Soto - Skrtel - Konchesky

For Sunday

I have to agree with that back four for Sunday and I wouldn't be surprised to see a midfield of

Maxi - Gerrard - Lucas - Kuyt

Off to Anfield in 30 mins :D Hopefully we'll get a score like last time I was there for a European game which we won against Porto 4-1

Last time I was there was a friendly against Atletico Madrid. Forlan scored to beat us 2-1 :(

To be fair we're a team in crisis and we're playing our second team, against a team who have good attacking players and are no joke in Italy. I dunno why anyone would expect us to win this.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I still expect us to win (or at least manage a controlled draw) at home, no matter who the opposition. I'm sick and tired of us playing like shitehawks.

Anyway, we're doing a bit better post-goal now.
