I don't want to sound skeptical... but... really?

Yep, he's put minutes up of meetings, a scan of a bid from Atletico Madrid for Arda and talked about their stadium at length.

I know, it sounds unlikely - I'm one of the first people to be sceptical but he's been around for years and is pretty sound.

RAWK also had Luis Garcia's best mate posting and he broke the news of his signing and gave us an interview with him.

It's understandable to sound sceptical, it sounds bizarre but there are quite a few people who post on RAWK who are in 'upper circles' if you like.

Galatasary are 9 of 18 on 16 points after 8 games - 4/0/4

Liverpool are 19 of 20 on 6 points after 8 games - 1/3/4

Gala were also terrible last season, they only managed 3rd on GD and were a clear 10 points behind Fener in 2nd. On top of that there were rumours of him falling out with players (Turan for one) and also him wanting to get Gio off of us despite him being awful there during his loan. Its not like he's just starting out like Hodgson, this was his chance to prove he could do it there and he's failed.

Fair play! I wouldn't mind seeing Arda at Atletico now you mention it...

Well according to him, Arda would rather come here and was asked to give one more season to Gala. Plus we couldn't afford him at all so we couldn't get him anyway before.

Roy is very lucky to be still in job. If there wasn't all of this ownership stuff he could very well have been sacked. And managers have beed sacked for less.

Depends how knee jerk things are really. Why not give him some more time? Or are you the SACK HIM NOW ONWONWONWONWOWNOWNOWNW type?

Some have been sacked for less? Yes by shitty boards. Chelsea, Mourinho? Yeah that happens, still he isn't a shit manager.

If he's lost the dressing room that's another case altogether.

i think if we get a new manager it will have to be one who takes no shit from the players (O Neil please). Apparently Benitez lost the dressing room, and now Hodgson has after just 8 games! If true i find ths unacceptable, we need a manager who will sort some of these egos out and maybe ship a few out

Has he actually lost the dressing room or, a bit like Benitez, has he 'lost' Gerrard? Keane at United, Henry at Arsenal, we all know what happens when talismanic players get annoyed with not winning things when their careers are on the wrong side of the peak.

It was Carragher and to a lesser extent Gerrard that sunk Benitez. Hodgson has lost other players, Reina, Agger etc.

Reports coming out of Spain that Pellegrini may well be taking over. He takes no prisoners.

I'd be a bit disappointed if that turned out to be true, to be honest. I think Rijkaard is a good manager whose achievements get unfairly downplayed, but he's not the calibre of coach I was hoping to attract.

But then again, I was more than happy with Roy so what do I know? :(

Not overjoyed if it is Rijkaard but not as worried as Hodgson's appointment. I don't know if this is short term or not.

If it's not Rafa then I don't know why we're faffing about and not getting Pellegrini.
