Seriously, Liverpool are pretty rubbish at the moment. Why does Benitez keep subbing Keane and Torres for vastly inferior players. Torres was looking dangerous (despite his miss). Everton played well though, they deserved the point. Even better, I won some cash thanks to that equalizer.

At least it was really a free kick unlike about 25 of the other fouls.

Probably the most frustrating game I have watched in a long time.

This. He stops the game every thirty seconds for the whole game, unless of course Everton are doing the shirt pulling/grappling, then only gives two minutes added time!

Fucking gutted at that. I thought the balance was all wrong and I reckon that was largely down to the absence of Masch. Uncharacteristically sloppy defending for their goal as well.

Oh yeah, and Cahill is a cunt.

What had Keane done to warrant staying on? Torres looked tired and we have to be a bit careful with him considering the injury he's just recovered from.

Jesus, and you call us bitter :D It was stop start the whole way through but it wasn't unfairly weighted either way in the game I watched. Big mistake was settling back after the goal, being able to get forward more often and get set pieces was the only way we were ever going to score at that point.

Yes. We had about 10 mins of solid pressure leading up to the goal. Once we had scored, I was hoping that we would push on for a second, but we seemed to drop back and concede possession and space. With the number of free kicks we were conceding around the box, it was only a matter of time before Lego-head man scored.

Gutted (yet again).

We will be/have been written off for the title now, so maybe we will start to play with a little less self-imposed pressure.

March 16th (Utd v Pool) is starting to look like a very very VERY big game.

Starting? It was never not going to be a very big game? And when we drop points against Hull and Stoke its not that big.

Don't disregard Villa. They're the form team at the moment.

I am going to disregard Villa for 2nd place actually. I'll gladly chop my own cock off if that happens. They would be absolutly over the moon to come 4th, and rightly so.

Anyway thanks for your two seperate stupid posts anyway.

We weren't good enough and you earned your point, I'm not trying to deflect blame. That being said, there should have been more than two minutes injury time and Webb made it more frustrating than it needed to be by blowing up for fuck all and then letting some of the rougher stuff go unpunished. It works in this league and we're too nice at times because as I said after the Stoke game last week, we need to start making a fight of it and give some of the physical stuff back to teams that play like that.

But they've been winning. Something they manage to do without trouble, especially after Christmas.

We can only carry on averaging a goal scored a game for so long before it comes to bite us in the arse. We can't keep this clean sheet run going forever.

We're still making progress, at least we can say we have actually been realistic contenders this year, something we've haven't seen at Liverpool for absolutly ages. Its easy to be dissappointed but when you're up against teams like Man Utd and Chelsea, who have had the fortune of being able to buy pretty much whoever they wanted for quite a few years, its always gonna be very difficult. I feel we have a squad now where we don't have to buy players in the summer to paper over cracks, if we have money we can spend it all on a world class player.

Oh god i'm not looking forward to the summer already am I? How depressing. We're on equal points with the league leaders for gods sake. Sorry.
