Anyway, getting back to the contract chat: He's 100% correct. We've all known for years now that Parry shouldn't have a say in our transfer activity. He's wrecked too many good deals for too many good players in the past and if he had his way we wouldn't have got either of Mascherano and Torres. Let's not forget that it was his complaints regarding Rafa going over his head to negotiate with these two players that started the 'Rafa vs owners' ball rolling last season.

Big big game tonight, in my eyes, we really need to keep the pressure on Man U and not slip up again.

I would like to see a strong team out tonight, full of players that aren't going to get bossed about too much from a fairly strong Everton side. Please please leave Benayoun out as I personally think he is much more effective if used from the bench while we are winning! I'd like to see Keane get some time on the pitch but I expect Torres to start in the usual 4-2-3-1 formation.

I'm well nervous, haven't been nervous all season but will be getting down the pub to cheer the boys on!

Man Utd fans are so clueless. Berbatov has played the same amount of games in the Premier League as Keane, Berbatov has scored less too. Keane has played 5 more games in total. And how much did Berba cost again? I know Man U only got Berba at the end of the summer transfer window, but honestly saying Rafa "won't play" Keane is very silly.

Berbatov also has the most assists in the Premier League this season.

Is Alonso still injured? If so I'd have Macherano there. But yeah, that's eaxtly how I'd play it too, I wanna see him use an all out attack force of Gerrard, Keane and Torres with Riera and Kuyt feed form the wings.

----------------Reina

--Carra--Hyypia--Skrtel--Aurelio

-------Alonso/Mascherano

---Kuyt-------Gerrard------Riera

-----------Keane---Torres

I bet he goes with this though, cause for some reason lately he loves to stack the midfield defensively.

-----------------Reina

----Carra--Hyypia--Skrtel--Aurelio

Kuyt--Alonso/Mascherano--Lucas--Riera

---------Gerrard

------------Torres/Keane

Good for him, I was just pointing out to a Man Utd fan that Keane has definitly been played, by pointing out that he's played as much as another younger player you payed £10m+ more for.

Everton will go 5 across the midfield, so we shouldn't need the Monster for this.

Spot on!

The Reds XI in full is: Reina, Carragher, Hyypia, Skrtel, Aurelio, Alonso, Gerrard, Riera, Kuyt, Keane, Torres. Subs: Cavalieri, Dossena, Arbeloa, Mascherano, Babel, Lucas, Benayoun.

Such a scrappy first half, it has been a bit like the Stoke game in that way. I guess Moyes saw how effective it was but it is very frustrating to watch. Every time Liverpool get forward it is either niggly fouls for us or against us breaking up any momentum.
