i don't think I've ever seen keane score from a starting point right in front of goal. On a run? absolutely. For a "tap in"? never. I think Hoddle was right, if he's got time to think he always makes it harder for himself.

Giggs is like that. When he's thinking about it he's rubbish.

What a dive from wallace Riera. Cheats! :P

Riera looked great today, I didn't think he'd be a great signing but he fits into your system perfectly. I feel sorry for Keane though, he has never been a true centre forward, do you think Benitez will play him in behind Torres now he is fit?

Well he doesn't seem to play Keane much when Fernie is fit. Right now, it looks like 20mill wasted.

Reira has been fantastic. I think perhaps because we didn't expect much from him...where as Keane, Babel, we did expect.

Same with Masch for me. I didn't really know he was any good, but he's proved to be fantastic.

Torres - well he's been amaze.

Keane has just about pulled his weight so far and I'd be amazed if he doesn't come good given time and the right conditions.

As for the other three: you should listen to me more often. I talked up all three of them in here before they signed. :P

In all seriousness, if anyone had watched Riera a decent amount of times last season they'd have known what we were getting; a bargain.

Liverpool will be without the services of Emiliano Insua for the next month due to his participation in the Under-20 South American Championships with Argentina in Venezuela.

The left back, who has started the last four matches in the first team, will be away until February 8 meaning he won't be available for this weekend's game with Stoke, the double header with Everton or the Anfield clash with Chelsea.

Joining Insua in the tournament will be reserve defender Ronald Huth who will be representing Paraguay.

The tournament runs from January 19 until February 8, and is staged every two years.

Argentina have won it four times, the last being in 2003.

Noooooooooooooo!

Oh well, at least Aurelio's back.
