Liverpool have had a really good half I think and dominated possession - we are playing like the home team.

I cant believe Kuyt didnt play the ball across the box with less pace to Gerrard because we would be winning if he had.

It looks like Fabregas might have got injured too at the end of the half.

I didnt think either were yellow cards for Adebayor but any Arsenal fan should be pleased they got someone sent off as it woke them up as they were dreadful before that.

After the sending off they seemed willing to fight for something and ended up nullifying us for the last 20 mins.

It was disappointing from a Liverpool point of view that we let our superiority slip after the sending off, we seemed really tentative and not willing to try to win the game and it should have been there to win.

I dont think I have ever seen Arsenal so poor.

If we don't win the league at least we'll win "The Most Cautious Team" award, fuck sake, as soon as Adebayor got sent off we as good as stopped trying. Take a risk every now and again, you might lose but you might also win. Gerrard was absolutely invisible that whole half.

Although, in saying that, I would have taken a draw before kick off, it's just grating that we can't kill teams off.

No, it's just that Arsenal aren't great this season. Other teams have had better results at the Emirates than Liverpool did today.

Maybe so but Lilman is still correct. We haven't been outplayed by anyone in the league this season, far from it and we've often made teams look poor. We did it to Chelsea and Man U earlier on and on both occasions, the general consensus with neutrals seemed to be that they had just underperformed.

I thought we missed Masch today. In that 20 minute spell in the second half where it was literally all Liverpool we were crying out for someone to carry the ball from the midfield up the pitch like Masch loves to. Agger tried and had some success in doing so and I was hoping to see Babel get on the ball more and influence the game a bit. It's a bit frustrating because I thought we were better than them and controlled the majority of the game but we didn't do enough to win and can't complain about the draw.

Well at the point of the sending off Arsenal had around 40% possession and 2 shots. I doubt thats ever happened to them before at home two thirds into the game.

What is Lucas' actual position? I assume it's an attacking midfielder as it looks like he learnt to tackle by watching videos of Paul Scholes. First time i've seen Insua play and he looked pretty good, he might be a better bet than Dossena.

Will Babel be leaving next month then?

It's been clear for some time that he has a lot of potential. I hope he becomes a fixture in the first team squad now because he's definitely got the quality.

I doubt it. What makes you say that?

On the highlights at the end it looked like Gerrard was picking the ball up right off the back 4. Why so deep??

Was on BBC 'rumours' that Milan may bid for him and Agger. Wouldn't surprise me if a few other clubs showed an interest.

Wenger' post match comments are pretty funny:

"I am convinced we would have won with 11 players," said the Arsenal manager.

"We took control with 10 men, but imagine what it would have been like with 11?"

I can imagine what it would have been like with 11, most probably like the first 65 minutes when you did have 11! :(
