Instead of sitting joint top with Chelsea, Liverpool would be 14 points worse off if their matches had finished after 58 minutes. (The Times)

And we'd be bottom of the table if our matches had finished after 30 seconds. Excellent reporting there.

Good news people, I will be missing the Chelsea match on sunday due to a christening I have to go to. The last time I missed a big game (Man U), look what happened. I'm expecting a Kuyt hat trick this time though :(

He's not slagging off Benitez because somehow we're winning! But he's not getting carried away either!!! And Riera looks BRILLIANT.

Nah, it's the Tuesday games they don't broadcast.

Oh my god the linesmen is having a right shocker. Both are infact.

Benayoun wasn't offside in my opinion, when the ball was played he was level. Also how the HELL did the other linesman see that the Madrid players were offside? they wereyards onside. I'm not fussed though, meant they didn't get the goal.

Hey ho, drawing away to the second best team in the group isn't too bad! I think we're getting a bit spoilt at the moment with all these wins...

All players substituted had knocks. All should be ok for Sunday.

Considering how shit they were in the first half, I think it is

We were pretty shit ourselves for most of the second half. I'd have taken a point before the game, although it did feel a bit like two dropped at the end due to us leading for so long and the amount of chances we failed to take. I'm disappointed that we drew a game we probably should have won, but as results go, a point away to Atletico is a good one.

The biggest problem for both Liverpool and United is that the top two places are going to be close, if you guys had won then 1st place would have been more or less sealed. Looking through the groups it is pretty much only Real Madrid/Juventus who might cause a problem for any of the premiership teams.
