...lets see what we do. Benitez goes MENTAL about Torres' injury, and Scolari says "Its a challenge without our player". About half the Chelsea starting 11 are out, and then still win 5-0 away.

Will this be another Stoke game?

Good stuff! Now I can start to believe! Oh man if only we'd beaten Stoke, but one can hardly complain considering our position at the moment. :)

Yeah Kuty can't be sold he's not always the best, but he does produce some excellent, solid performances - and then comes up with the odd goal. Almost gave us hope in the UCL final too.

Looking forward to MOTD tonight :)

God we're dull.

Fair play to Wigan, they came to play (and what a strike by Zaki to make it 1-2) and, in all fairness, deserved a point. Got to love our fighting spirit though, hope Merson, Le Tiss and all those mocking fucktards choked when Kuyt volleyed/bundled/kung-fued in the winner.

if Kuyt was playing shit, then I think Benitez would be shitting all over him. But Kuyt is easily one of our hardest workers (perhaps the hardest of all) and his new role has made a giant difference to our team. I think thats a good compromise, and Benitez probably thinks the same. Some players simply won't consider it, but people like Kuyt and Gerrard (he might make a small moan every once in a while, but he did say he'd gladly play Full back if he was asked) just go out and do their job. If they put the work in it improves their own use and worth and makes them more rounded players.

was at the game and it seemed liverpool were playing at 70%. looked like nearly all the players were tired. kuyt had a great game. his work rate was excellent and the goals topped a great performance. pennant was poor though he failed to make obvious runs in the first half and the crowd were having a go at him.

good thing was that even though they played poor they pulled out the result which is a good thing. in seasons past i doubt they would have come back to draw let alone win in these kind of games.
