Are you winding me up? Or are you just really really thick? Which is it? I reckon you're really really thick. I mean, how many times do you need things explained to you? I generally get the gist of a point upon first hearing it, but you, I mean, you're incredible.

Are you really asking me what I am on about? I'll wager everybody else here who read our exchange understood what I was saying. So what's the problem specific to you? Blunt force trauma to the head?

I hope this isn't where you say "Yes, I am actually mentally retarded" because then I'd feel bad about mocking your poorly functioning brain.

 No ramone, I am thick obviously as I really didn't get what you were on about with your "you for real?" quote after I said I was happy to shut up about it due to Deputy Nick saying "apologies" even if he may not of meant it.

So, what was it you wanted to make me understand? And for Graham S sake lets keep this pleasant as I feel our ramblings really are helping to turn this thread to shit! Also, once you have answered I will try not to ever remark or anything you say in the future.

Edit: I've just read the post between ramone and me back and I still don't get why you said

He didn't really. And only when highlighted. By Deputy Nick. Jesus Chirst are you for real?
after I had said nothing more than I was happy that he apologised.

Larry David, I wish I could, however I must out this chump in public. If we don't learn from our mistakes we're doomed to repeat them.

Here goes nothing for Jellyhead.

1) Warsawza makes racist comment

2) Regulars in the thread make no comment of the comment.

3) Deputy Nick goes points out the racism and is surprised it isn't picked up on.

4) You blunder in going "So we're all racists, I didn't even read the thread properly!"

5) Deputy Nick apologises, I imagine for an easy life as arguing with you really isn't worth it.

6) I then say he shouldn't have apologised.

7) You said you were happy to accepy Deputy Nick's apology.

:) I went r u 4 real?

9) You told me to fuck off and stressed that you were happy with Nick's apology

10) I suggested you have brain damage.

11) You still don't understand.

I must add when you first spoke of accepting apologies I actually thought you were talking about Warsawza saying he was sorry, in that he was misundertood. That would have been the slightly less unintellignet thing to do. The fact that you were talking about Deputy Nick's apology really fucks with my head.

But Liverpool, eh? I reckon Riise will score next week, in the right end!

Torress did look out of sorts last night (that time he didn't get a touch on the ball when he could have been clean through, a few minutes before the Riise back header) - but we know he finds it much harder to play against teams defending deep.

Plus, of course, he SHOULD have scored when put through. All very strange.

At SB it's going to be a different ball game. He'll chase and find space and get in behind if we can unleash him early enough.

Some sumptuous passing last night from both Xavi and Masch impressed me too.

I actually did kind of apologise more clearly and was probably writing that post as your argument kicked off. I'm not sure if that fucks with anyone's head more or less. I know everything's fucking with my head today.

I expect Chelsea to play very defensively at SB too, after all we are the ones who will have to score. Most of the game yesterday they had 9 men in the box when we were attacking so I expect it will be the same.

I agree about Alonso and Masch, they both played very well. I wish Gerrard would play the simpler ball sometimes in these big games as he always seems to go for the impossible and Alonso showed what you could do if you keep it simple.

OH MY :o . You think i'm thick? Try reading the posts through from start to finish and also try asking yourself if you had never bothered to even post up about it would there be an argument in the first place? Deputy Nick and myself certainly weren't arguing.

This is what I said

I think thats a bit harsh mate. Fair enough he probably shouldn't have said those things but to take it out on the rest of us for "turning a blind eye" is a little out of order.

Because Deputy Nick said this

Christ. It’s like going to a real football match here with a minority of scum of the earth fans and everyone else turning a blind eye because they also support the same team.

Deputy Nick then follows up with

Apologies, perhaps I was a bit harsh I suppose......

So I leave it at that knowing full well that his apology was half hearted because he still felt we were turning a blind eye and then you jump in with

I don't think you were a bit harsh really. I certainly don't think you should apologise.

followed by

Well you didn't call him out on it. Nor did I. Why? Because it was in the Liverpool thread and us fans stick together. If he'd said it in any other thread I would have said something. So, I don't think calling the rest of us out on it was harsh, no.

I disagree because you have made assumptions about the rest of us being racist!

The worst is when I said

He apologised, thats good enough for me.
which was meant to be a tongue in cheek "shut the fuck up, this argument isn't going anywhere" you then write a serious of posts where you don't ever actually bother to explain yourself but instead call me a retard, thick etc which strangely is a little hypocritical when you were backing a person up for having a go at someone saying racist/homophobic comments. As you do this quite often I don't know why I am surprised but hey, must be me being thick.

@Warszawa - I don't actually think you are racist/homophobic by the way, I think it was more heat of the moment stuff.

I'm hoping they don't play too defensively as the one thing I thought Chelsea were good at yesterday was getting men behind the ball and swarming around our players. At one point Kuyt had 5 Chelsea players surrounding him but with an extremely clever pass he managed to by pass them all :o

Yes, Gerrard does need to keep it simple sometimes. Alonso to me was by far the better passer of the ball last night. I do worry though everytime Benayoun comes on these days. He doesn't seem to offer anything from the bench to our side. He blundered a couple of times last night and lost possession for us. Passes to the centre of midfield when we've just stopped a Chelsea attack seemed rather risky to me :P

It was, and I'm really ashamed by it because that's simply not who I am. It's literally played on my mind all day which is unprecedented for something as trivial as an RLLMUK post. The black part, I don't feel bad about at all because that was an honest misuse of the word (if I'd just written 'submissive rent boy' it could have been any Chelsea player with 'rent boy' being a mocking nickname for that club, and that was my thinking at the time) but the gay innuendo was really just pointless, hot headed and regrettable. Maybe I have had a slight hang up about gay men (NOT a hatred or dislike or any sort of contempt) after a very unnerving incident a few years ago but that was hardly playing on my mind when I typed those posts, so I'm just going to put them down to a heat of the moment boneheadedness that's dogged me for some time and needs to be worked out.

Warszawa, just forget about it, mate. I'm mixed race and didn't pick up on any racism in your post. Obviously that doesn't guarantee that nobody else was offended by it, and it seems that some were, but I think it's been blown out of all proportion and it'd be a shame for you to be labeled a bigot over it. I saw it and thought you were calling Drogba a bit of a tart in a round about way. You usually come across as being intelligent and insightful. I suggest that, much like Riise's own goal, you should put it out of your mind and concentrate on the second leg.

Or the third leg.

Ah well, I think we're capable of beating them down there, and if we're not we don't deserve to go trough.

Exactly - it's a one off final that we have to win. And going by our performance last night, it's definitely doable.

For what it's worth, Insua and Plessis weren't in the squad for the Reserves match against Marine tonight. I wonder if Rafa will risk Riise against Birmingham seeing as we have no real cover in that poisition now or will he give Inusa a league start?
