Hey. I've just started playing Pro Evo Master League - and I've not dropped Torres once. He's a goal scoring machine*

*cos I made his stats better/more like real life

It doesnt matter who he plays with, HE NETS. Yeah!

The reserves are through to the final of the Dallas Cup - having scored 23 goals in 4 games!

Ok so the opposition hasn't been the best, but they beat Benfica 2-1 in the semi-final last night.

I'm glad to see them playing plenty of matches. The reserve league system in England is a joke. Quite simply they just don't get to play enough games.

I've noticed whenever a reserve game is called off, they usually set up a friendly with a local side to make up for it.

Nemeth made the difference again last night:

Substitute Krisztian Nemeth broke down the left and when he cut the ball back, Flynn was on hand to drill the ball home with just two minutes left.

"As for the other two Hungarians, Andras Simon and Krisztian Nemeth both played a half each and Simon worked very hard and deserved his goal.

"We brought Nemeth on in the second-half and in the end he was probably the difference for us with some great hold up play and he also went close with a few headers.

"He got some reward though when he set up the winning goal for Ryan which means we can now look forward to the final on Sunday night."

Sunday's game makes it 5 games in a week for them!

Liverpool will win this weekend. 0-2 Torres brace.

I have seen the future, get yourselves on betfair.

I really hope you're right. God knows we're due a result against them. I think in Torres we've finally got the player that can tip the balance in our favour on the day. Hopefully he'll get some decent service this time because the midfield really didn't do him justice at Anfield. The way Stevie has been linking up with him recently bodes well for our chances tomorrow, as does the form of Mascherano, and the team in general. I can't wait for kick-off.

I'm cacking myself about the game.

My team:

---------------Reina

--Aurelio Arbeloa--Carra-Skrtel--Riise

-----------Alonso--Masch

----Kuyt------Gerrard-----Babel

---------------Torres

Edit: Sorry. I actually did mean Arbeloa for right back, but the settledness of the side makes FantasyRafa a lot easier now. ^_^

I've heard others saying it and I think they might just be right that the heroes for both teams will come from unlikely sources. Everyone expects Ronaldo, Torres, Gerrard etc to deliver in this game but when do they ever? Ronaldo has done nothing against us time after time, as has Gerrard against Utd. Torres is still an unknown in this fixture but there's no doubt that Ferdinand and Vidic are not slow. I can see us scoring from an unlikely source today. I think it's important that Babel plays well as Brown is certainly Utd's weak link in their the back four. I can't see Kuyt getting much change out of Evra.

Unbelievable, first that Mascherano knew he was already booked and started giving the referee shit, second that no one stepped in to stop him until it was too late, third that he lost his head that much that I thought he was going to punch someone on the touchline.

I don't know what's happening, Reina's been so absolutely clueless as well. This could be a rout if we're not careful, half time couldn't have come quick enough.

The worrying thing was that the sending off is the only real excitement there has been, and it was the completely wrong type ^_^

Did brown actually get a touch on the Utd goal? To me all the replays showed it miss him and go in off reina's glove, if not from the original cross

Where was Gerrard during that? He's the real villain today - chumming around with his best friend Rooney before the match (can you imagine Neville or Keane having a laugh with Liverpool players right before a game against them?) then peforming like a fucking mouse, not stepping in to tell Mascherano to settle down and generally being fucking rubbish in a big game AGAIN.

Gerrard is a good player, but he is not a captain. He's too insular, too self absorbed but without the required fire and brimstone. If he had any sort of fucking passion, he'd have been defending us from this incompetent ref all day.

Even Andy fucking Gray is defending Masch here!
