No. It's a really dull draw and the thought of facing Premier League opposition in every match remaining in European competition fills me full of apathy. It's the Champions League / European Cup and we are playing teams we play every season anyway. Yawn. :P

I love the idea of beating them though. TAKE THAT!

As a united fan I would rather play premiership opposition, but primarily because we usually do better against them than European teams. Glad to see Babel getting some games, as someone said if he starts running past players he will be a serious attacking force.

Rumour going around draw has been leaked..... this is no doubt rubbish but if Rumour is true it's LFC - arsenal and Chelsea - fenerbache and manure v roma

No bookies will take bets on the draw either.......

I just read that your boy Agger is out for the rest of the season? He's been out for ages. What's the problem? I thought metatarsal injuries took around 6 weeks to heal.

Recently his healing has been left to be done naturally. Quite simply it hasn't worked and he's going to be operated on instead. Looked ok in his reserve comeback games though.

This season isn't too bad really. We look more comfortable in 4th after todays result and we're 5 points off Chelsea, 8 off the top. And still in the Champions League after beating arguably one of the top teams in Europe at the moment.

Considering the utter mess of a month or two ago, things are bloody impressive.

Next 3 fixtures are huge though.

I flagged these periods a while back. All our recent prem games were MUST WIN, seeing as they were against such poor sides. We've done so. Now the real test begins.

Hey we beat up Derby good last year and then it all went wrong - so we'll see how it goes against the bigger boys.

Ok so this will be the last time I will be on a PC until after the big game on sunday. What do you guys think of our chances? Personally if we can nullify Ronaldo I reckon they are there for the taking. Torres is on fire at the moment, Gerrard, Alonso and Mascherano are also playing brilliantly and if Babel has one of his damn good days he'll rip Wes Brown apart.

I'm just hoping its not the same as usual where we are all over them and they get a flukey goal to win 1-0 :D

0-2 victory to us I'm going with. Torres and Riise with the goals. We must keep the formation we are playing so well in though.

We are due something against Utd and we are actually going into a game against them when it can be said we are playing quite well. We don't have to play Hyypia and Skrtel has the pace and physical presence to combat Utds forward players. I'm optimistic and looking forward to both games on Sunday. Maybe they'll both actually turn out to be decent games of football for a change.

I think we're (Utd) there for the taking. We've flattered to deceive for a lot of the season. Recent displays have been poor, the centre of midfield changes every game (people who criticise Rafa's rotation policy should see when was the last time Utd played the same midfield for two consecutive games) and I think Ferdinand is fighting to get fit for Sunday.

That said, you're going to have to do better than last time we met. You may have had most of the possession but you didn't do much with it. Hopefully it's not boring like most of our games against each other are. Always seems to be 0-0 or 1-0.
