I just said someone went in but that I didn't know who they were, and they definitely didn't look like a footballer.

Crap text really

Perhaps the subtle will work.

(Loser)

I think someone should text in and claim they've seen Ronaldo at Newcastle. The fat Brazillian one.

Blatent lies from the BBC! (These people make me sick)

2352: "David Bentley is at Anfield as we speak, as is David Villa."

Neil, via text

I think it's more likely Bently is buying a Villa, in Spain.

As soon as I arrived in Liverpool I realised how much this team meant.

Now, after two and a half years I have to say goodbye and I can't hide the great sorrow I feel in leaving one of the best clubs in Europe.

Liverpool FC as a club, its fans, its coaches and my team-mates have together helped me to become a better player and, above all, a better person.

Liverpool FC is one of the greatest. The Liverpool fans never desert their team.

Even in the worst moments you have a strong sense that the fans are with you, supporting you as much as they can, never giving up, those fans make Liverpool even stronger. I really want to thank them for helping me to feel and to understand what football means in its purest form.

I also think Liverpool FC functions this way because of its leaders; Rafael Benitez works from dawn to dusk, and the players know they must fight for the red shirt in every second of every match.

Now I am beginning a new adventure in another big European Club in Juventus. They have also now put their faith in me.

I shall play to my best in every single match, I shall fight hard for my new shirt to the end, but when every match is finished, I know what I'll do first - I shall ask about the results of Liverpool FC.

Everybody knows the legend "You'll Never Walk Alone" and I shall never ever forget the experience and the team.

I want to thank everyone for the opportunity and wish everyone all the best for the future.

With my best regards,

Mohammed Sissoko

It's a real shame things didn't work out the way most of us envisioned they would after his first season. He's going to do really well over there, I'm sure of it.

I hope he doesn't do too well. It'd be a bit shit if he turned into Patrick Viera.

Best case scenario is that he'll turn into a YaYa Toure clone. Damn fine player but not as good as someone like Mascherano or Alonso (if he ever gets his form back).

Alonso's got worse from his first season, hasn't he?

He's a complete shadow of his former self. He scored something like 12 goals in his final season for Real Sociedad. He looks as much like scoring these days as I look like George Clooney.

Different league, different position and different role in the team. He's hardly played this season and has twice fractured a metatarsal. He's coming back from injury in a team that is seriously out of form, playing the worst football seen during Benitez's time here. He's not going to look good in those conditions, nobody would. Before he got injured he was playing very well and he showed his class in the game against Arsenal, up until getting injured and having to come back off.

Yeah, thanks Lampard. Well done for England by the way.

I think Liverpool may lose today. I think I will put some money on it.

Yeh, I might be talking shit but I think the mentality that Keane instills is exactly what our team is lacking...I'm not feeling confident at all. :)

Was that game against Sunderland in Houllier's final season? The one where we had about 30 chances and didn't score?

It was on a Tuesday/Thursday night or something. I remember watching that. Sunderland, officially had 0 shots at goal. Although they had one from miles out, but it was blocked before it went near the box.

I watched that. It added about 5 years to my life. It was awful...but not as bad as Charlton vs Sunderland that same season. Christ. I almost killed myself.

Oh my god, how jammy are united. Commentators are loving it "Well, that's what champions are made of"....SHUT THE FUCK UP!! :)

I wouldn't care, but anything to take the smug look off my united fan colleagues.

Whatever. Cos the commentators are right. They've got bottle, while we lose in a shit way to West Ham.
