I've changed my mind:

---------------Reina

Finnan----Carra--Hyypia--Aurelio

Pennant--Stevie--Alonso--Riise

---------------Yossi

------------------Torres

Not sure why I bothered, knowing Rafa that prediction will be way off. And considering our current form we'll do well to get anything out of the game.

Yeah good luck to Sissoko, he was always an honest player if nothing else. Oh and a bit hatstand, entertaining to watch if frustrating at times.

LOL @ money stuff. Hmm why don't all the fans just spread that out across loads of 0% interest credit cards?!

Hicks did the same thing with the Dallas Stars, whilst insisting the debt was secured against the holding company rather than the franchise. They've fallen to such mediocrity that the holding company couldn't keep up with the repayments and defaulted on the debt, all of which was subsequently shifted on to the Dallas Stars' books.

More detail on the refinancing

They've fucked us good and hard. Still, at least they're not Thaksin Shinwatra or the Al Maktoums. I find it easier to support a club owned by cowboy capitalists who are trying to squeeze us dry than some dodgy anti-demoncratic ruler with a load of allegations of human rights violations to their name. I'd have been a right hypocrite to lambast Abramovich for conning a nation out of their wealth and then welcome those sort of characters with open arms. I'm surprised Liverpool fans are so uncritically in favour of DIC.

Anyway, goodbye Momo, and thanks!

Haha! Check this from Sky Sports website regarding tonights game.

Benitez is expected to name a strong XI after watching his second string side flirt with the romance of the FA Cup and narrowly avoid a humiliating defeat to Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday.

For fucks sake! What is everyones problem?!

For footballing reasons, mostly. I think a lot of people are ignorant to the claims against him regarding child trafficking and the treatment of many of the 500,000 construction workers in his employ. I don't know enough about those claims to comment one way or another but I have to say I want these two (well, Hicks, mostly) out so bad that I'd welcome DIC with open arms. As far as businesses go, they don't settle for second best. They've got a great portfolio and all of their businesses are successful and sustainable.

Hicks helped fund Bush and has remained a firm backer of the man. Everywhere you look you'll find people eager to exploit human rights, so in a choice between the two, for me it comes down to whoever would be best for Liverpool FC.

Besides, one has to remember that Dubai and similar operate under very different rules to the West. Al Maktoum is relatively progressive over there, all things considered.

I think West Ham have to be heavy favourites for this game. Our morale is shot to shit after all of the managerial uncertainty of late.

Nah. This will be Marseille all over again. As such I predict 2-2, or 4-2 to Liverpool!

And before that, what was the problem then?

We were only about three points off of the top prior to that and improving.

As a side note, I actually think that the failure to sign a new centre back in the summer was an error. Hyypia's brilliant, but Agger allows us to play so more expansively due to his pace and ball control. A back line of Carragher and Hyypia will never contribute much to attack other than the odd hoof upfield.

As for Kuyt, I could never hate him but his confidence is shot to shit. He gets loads of games but he has no faith in himself to put the ball in the net any more.

Carragher has been pretty shit this season. Clumsy, hot headed and just lacking terribly the form he'd previously found in himself under Rafa. I think that - whoever the manager is - he'll be lucky to be automatic first choice alongside Agger come next season.

You're still big favourites for fourth I reckon. We're all failing about.

I think it all depends on the confidence.

And also, I think that some of the more mature, level headed members of the squad - Gerrard therefore not included - should be sounded out as to whether they still have confidence in the manager. The only instance in which I would be advocate of change is if the players actually do not trust the manager's methods at this stage and if there is a top notch candidate ready to take the helm. And by top notch, I mean someone of the calibre of Gus Hiddink, not a populist appointment of a has-been like Kenny Dalglish, which is the sort of move desperate, small clubs make. Personally, I think changing boss during the season very rarely ends well and would likely be the final nail in any pretentions of finishing fourth.
