Apparently Liverpool FC honorary president David Moores has left the club. George Gillet's son, Foster, has also alledgedly cleared out and returned to America.

This says one of two things -

1. The Arabs have got their hands on the club and are clearing out everyone connected to the old regime.

2. Gillet and Hicks have fallen out with each other and Moores has fallen out with both of them or just Hicks.

If it's not a takeover, then maybe Hicks and Gillet have had a falling out, with Hicks now being in charge (considering it's Gillet's son who has gone) - which doesn't bare thinking about - leaving Moores completely fed up with it all and given up.

3. Moores has realised that they won't sell and has resigned as he doesn't want to be part of what is about to take place; the club being riddled with debt, and fucked to death by the two lying, thieving cunts that he described as 'great custodians' when he handed the club to them.

4. Foster has been sent home on the basis that he isn't safe in Liverpool with so much animosity in the air.

5. The Americans are selling and Foster is no longer needed at Melwood.

There's too many possible reasons as to why either of those things have allegedly happened. Best to wait and see I guess but I'm praying that it's number 5.

The Moores thing is all over the place. I think it was started by a poster on YNWA. I'm not convinced by the story at all to be honest, but stranger things have happened.

The Foster stuff has been said by a few respected posters on RAWK.

Which thread on YNWA was it (I'm on there)? I had a look through the "Arabs eye £500m Liverpool buy-out, Observer exclusive" thread but couldn't see anything obvious there. Ta.

Wouldn't surprise me if FG was sent home for this game, given the anticipated fan response tonight. Would be more surprised if Moores had walked though.

Well that's embarrasing, TVU player channel 65264, which was showing the Liverpool game 'til half time has now switched over to the Playboy Channel and is showing a rather nubile young lady opening a can of coke and letting it explode into her muff. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't showing my Dad the benefits of watching games online, he's laughing his socks off!

Best half time analysis I've ever seen though. Oh Setanta is back now.

I'm fucking sick of seeing us play like this. I don't like us playing 4-4-2 anymore. Gerrard is playing too deep again and the wingers aren't providing any wing play. They're both coming inside way too often, leading to the front men getting no service from wide areas, coupled with next to no service from the midfield because they seem determined to hit hollywood passes over and over.

Maybe it would work if we actually tried to keep the ball long enough to let players overlap and the like but we seem hell bent on getting to the goal in as few passes as is humanly possible. Just fucking pass and move, why can't we do the simple things at the minute?

Sorry, quite a negative post considering we're 1-0 up at half time against a good side. Still, my point stands.
