1-1. Own goal by Riise. FFS. Andy Gray "delighted".

DId you like the way he claimed Liverpools goal was lucky and then after the Riise own goal the other commentator pointed out to Andy Gray how he has said luck was so important and he was right... Andy Gray was just silent! :)

Anyhow, crap performance and a draw.

Gray is fast becoming a parody of himself. I can't stand it when he is commentating.

Still, we were lucky (haha) to get out that with a draw. That was a quite dreadful performance, where no-one, no-one!, played well. At least we are in the hat for the next round draw on Monday, but bloody hell, it's hard work watching us these days.

That was fucking terrible, say what you want about Rafa but that result came down to two things, no-one out there looked like they could be fucked playing a game of football and Gerrard wasn't there to lay into them and instill some passion. Some might say it's Rafa's job to do that, and it is to a point, but Gerrard can crack some skulls when he needs to, I'm surprised Carragher wasn't doing the same job. Absolutely no passion from anyone, no-one looked like creating anything and we were outplayed for 70 minutes, even the substitutes were totally anonymous. I hadn't thought Kuyt was playing well this season but I thought the criticism he was getting from the fans was a bit harsh until today. He looks to have gone the same way as Sissokko, a complete loss of form.

I was hoping we'd get a decent win today that we could build from for the next game but that was tragic. Congratulations to Luton though, for 11 players playing without wages they really showed some pride and determination, they should have won the game to be honest, I hope the money they get from this and the replay will ease their money problems.

I'm fairly certain the players were giving absolutely everything. They played badly but I doubt very much they were playing with no passion.

It is not the slating, it is the sheer bias in his voice when he commentates. He was gutted when we scored and overjoyed when we conceded a few minutes later. And it's not just because we're playing a lower league club. He does it pretty much whoever we are playing.

He does but today you couldn't really argue with him. He shouldn't be allowed to commentate on Liverpool games though.

I feel sorry for Rafa.

I think you should be more worried about how crap we were rather than the tone of Andy Gray's voice.

I don't have a problem with him at all, he's an ex-blue. What do you expect? I find him fairly entertaining as football commentators go.

I didn't see anyone chasing down the ball in a way you'd see in the Champions League, I didn't see anyone making any runs up front. The word that describes the performance for me would be "Sleepy."

It was a bad performance but I don't think they'd have played any better if Gerrard was there.

They were probably trying too hard, to prove some points. They certainly didn't look like they were enjoying it. Liverpool don't often look like they enjoy playing football.
