The old Man Utd Thread

I just think we've got nothing to lose. Moyes has been an unmitigated disaster and only left us with this to play for, as good a cup as it is, so I reckon he knows his chances are running out. If he fucks up royally again, surely the board will have to act, but if he somehow pulls it off, then his job might be safe. Basically, I think he has to play for this with everything he's got, which will hopefully make for an interesting game.

We're playing like how teams used to setup against us (i.e park the bus and look for the counter). Bayern absolutely dominating the ball, but we've had the best chance of the match.

Fellaini needs to come off, lost count how many times he's lost the ball. Hopelessly out of his depth, get Fletch on, least he's mobile.

Fellaini is a funny one. i really do think he's a good footballer. But he's only shown it against nobodies wether its confidence, fitness i dont know.. I think it's the same case with Moyes. I think both of them at Everton were big fish in small ponds. Only at manchester united, they're big fish...in a giant pond and to keep it on the aquatic theme, out of their depth.. where they're both not good enough against the best players.

it's all good playing well against crap teams, but jesus...

Although you look like the away team I have to say fair play to the way the teams been set up. You've stifled Bayern, stuck most of your men behind the ball but got at them a few times with a break away attack. I'm not impressed with Bayern though, they are lacking ideas and urgency,

Eh? Neither two footed, a lunge or any intent. Why do you think he should have gone? It was a 50/50 ball that they both went for. If anything Tony had it worse, he got crunched in the balls.
