This is just sad. He has to be gone at the end of the season, surely? Much as some might point to areas of weakness in our squad, we are simply nowhere near as bad as our results and performances this season imply.

I'm terrified at the prospect of what a second season with Moyes in charge would entail. There have been no glimmers of hope this season, nothing to make you feel like sticking with him would be worth it because there's light at the end if the tunnel. Sticking with him to prove we're not like Chelsea would just be cutting our nose off to spite our face. A whole season of this is generous, frankly.

United did beat [a very good in the Bundesliga] Leverkusen 0-5 away in what was definitely United's best performance under Moyes. Rooney was even running at players for the first time in about 6 years. United have saved their less rubbish stuff for the Champions League, and away from Old Trafford where there seems to be this dread.

This is the performance that I think lets everyone know that this is too inept and aimless to suddenly drastically improve next season under Moyes. I've never took notice of the calender year, like i thought Arsenal would struggle this season (before they bought Ozil) but they continued their form since March into the new season, like very few goals conceded at home, more composure at the back in majority of games.

If United are as shit in May as they are now, a tour and pre season won't mean anything when the season starts, they're as likely to be as rubbish.

If the whole team is replaced, then expect months of a 'need time to gel together' -type excuses.
