Weird one this. I thought Fulham started well, we were struggling to get the ball out in the first ten minutes. They've been totally shite at the back, and the game is already done within 25 minutes though! Their tracking of runners from deep has been shocking.

I would say two of the goals were pretty bad ones to give away, we haven't really had to work to create chances.

i didn't see the game, but i've just had a look at the BBC sport page. what happened with those substitutions? did Fellaini play in defence, or did we go to three at the back?

Was cool to see Fellaini backing up his little Belgian buddy at the end there. Hope the Fulham player enjoys his ban for violent conduct.

ah right. too much to hope for a bit of tactical innovation, i suppose. i don't see why we couldn't have played three at the back - Vidic with Evra and Smalling either side. especially as Jones could sit in front of them.

So 10 games in to the season. We are just 3 points behind the team in second place having already played City, Liverpool and Chelsea. We have 7 points out of 9 in the Champions league and look set to qualify for the second round without much trouble and we are in the quarter finals of the League cup.

Not too bad considering we've also had our worse start in years and have been playing absolutely terrible!
