What is Fuller playing at? He's crashing into VDS whenever he gets the chance. I know you've got a right to challenge, but he's often coming out worse and probably going to do himself and injury at this rate.

As I type, own goal with Nani and Berba waiting for a low ball across the face of goal. Even with that, this game feels very flat.

Great change to try and pick the tempo up a bit. Gibson and Macheda on for Scholes and Berba. No, I don't think this'll be his last game for the club, not in the slightest.

What a diagonal ball from Rooney! The kind that makes you think his career will follow a similar trajectory to Scholes'. Nani can't quite poke it home though, good save.

Chelsea 5 up. ;)

We just don't have as much firepower as they do, and can't rely on our goals to get us out of a scrape anymore. Our defence has been amazing all season though, that would be much more difficult to sort out if that was the issue.

Well, to say we've had a shit season; 7 losses, massive injury problems, losing Ronny and Tevez, Berbatov and Carrick being a waste of space for most of the season, having to rely on the old guard a bit too much, etc, I'm actually amazed we finished the season only 1 point off Chelsea.

We definitely need a world class midfielder and striker next season and if that happens I don't think we'd have any problems taking the title back.

As sad as it is. If we'd have got 4th I wouldn't be arsed if manyoo won the league or not. Obviously I'd rather they hadn't but as we finished 5th; I along with many, many other teams fans were hoping that Chelsea would get the title.

The thing united fans just..don't..get.. is that no one's jealous (ok maybe some are)! It's the ungracious way that your manager and your fans behave that really rub people up the wrong way. Fans hate you not because you are very successful, it's because you behave like cunts.

Considering we were all but written off at the start of the season to finish 1 point off the top is a decent achievement.

Despite an old team and all the terribly average players we have (according to opposition fans/the media) i'm incredibly hopeful for next season.

I'm indifferent to Berbatov at the moment and don't mind if he stays or leaves although I expect it will be the former. Fergie has clealy lost faith in Carrick and I wouldn't be surprised to see him go which means we need to sign a world class midfielder, either an attacking player and shift Fletcher into the centre or a defensive player and leave Fletcher where he is. Vidic looks like he's going to stay and Evans has shown he is more than capable of covering when required. If Neville starts next season as first choice RB I will fucking hurt someone though.

At the end of the day it's been a transitional season in many ways and the squad are nowhere near as old/bad as some people would make out.
