This game is about 50 times more interesting than Liverpool v Chelsea. Very competitive, end-to-end stuff. Berbatov has been very frustrating so far.

He lets the ball trundle across him, getting the wrong side of him to the goal, and screws it. Very hesitant. He should've been preparing to hit it as soon as it left Rooney's boot. He definitely seems to want the ball, he's getting in some great positions. Once he's got it at his feet, though, he's been very disappointing.

Its embarrasing, he just doesn't have what it takes mentally to be a united player. As bad as the miss was worst of all was him recieving it 12 yards out and instead of shooting deciding to pass it .

We look a tad congested, being unable to move the ball forward quickly when we get it. Instead we're trying to string together little passes, but Sunderland are breaking that up quite easily.

Not only were Berbatov's misses horrendous, I think they resulted in Rooney refusing to pass the ball to him after a certain period of time. Sir Alex was right to take him off. Now he needs to be right about buying a proper Old Trafford No.9 in the summer.

Apart from that, it was a strong teeam performance that should have ended at least 4-0.
