Pato means 'duck'.

Kaka means shit.

I'm looking forward to the WC, but mostly the summer friendlies we get into as I don't think we need much bringing in, Chicharito, Diouf, Owen and Rooney are enough for our forward options, especially if the former is actually any good! I don't rate Welbeck or Macheda much, maybe they'll develop, they deserve the time to become a player in their own right. Wouldn't be too surprised if Berbs goes in the summer, but, he's never a bad player to have around.

I suppose Tottenham's unexpected win today might get my hopes up slightly, that they can get something against Chelsea. Who, after all, did labour to a home win against Bolton yesterday. Spurs have a point to prove, after exiting the FA cup to Portsmouth, and fourth place is still to play for. On Saturday they'll be hoping we beat City, and we'll be hoping they beat Chelsea.

Veetle is great.

Excellent save from Tevez free kick! VDS is our rock. We're disrupting their breaks fairly well so far, too.

Scholes has the best chance of the game so far, drags it a little. In that position, with that time and space, very disappointing by his standards.

Rooney hasn't had half a second on the ball. They're really crowding him.

New best chance of the game fall to Rooney on his left foot. He has Giggs (I think) free on the left, but should bury it anyway. Good signs though, we've been on top.

It would be easier to get Valencia on the ball if there wasn't a 50 yard gap back to the Worlds Slowest FullbackTM. Gibson hasn't been much help supporting him either.

Should really be a goal up by now, I expect City will be better in the second half too so should be interesting.
