Considering that team, on paper at least, looks like a fucking shambles they've played surprisingly well.

I can understand playing Fletcher at RB as i'm not sure I would want the inexperience of Rafael or De Laet alongside Neville. Fair play for bringing on Carrick though, West Hams only threat is going to be over the top and he has the height and pace to cope with anything in that regard.

I think Neville started on the right though, with Fletcher in the center next to Brown.

Might be a blessing in disguise having Neville go off mind, Carrick can defend when needed and Gary is so slow now, never looked like beating Stanislas to anything.

Hines being injured at the end of the half gave us an edge for the goal, and hes off now which will help. Saying that Diamanti can be a bugger to play against.
