He looks massive in that picture, but thats because Nani is 5'9", as is Anderson and Park. Gibson is supposedly 6' and Kuzcakzxskazx is 6'3" but Foster looks comfortably taller than them and only an inch or 2 smaller than VDS. But its all irrelevant anyway, it doesn't matter what size you are, Foster is still a great keeper.

You just want to see semi-naked United players. Gaybob!

No, fully naked plz.

Just look out for those extremely long range free kicks

Nah, Foster won you the CC final by producing a fantastic goalkeeping display. If he can reproduce that regularly he'll be England 'keeper before long.

Yeah, that must have been shit, not often a keeper of Paul Robinson's calibre scores against you from open play!

I've just seen on football-transfers that Quinton Fortune has joined Doncaster. Checking his Wiki it says he's only played 14 games since leaving United in 2006. He's had a weird career playing 76 times for United (avg about 10 games a season) and 53 times for his country but that's it pretty much. He never reached double figures at any other club. Has he had terrible injuries or was he just a very rarely used squad player at United?

As the forum's Official Quinton Fortune Fanboy I broke the Doncaster news a couple of weeks ago. :(

He was forever injured and was a bit part squad player at United. He was like a John O'Shea, always dependable and solid but only really going to be picked because of injuries or rotation. I was the first person to ever ask for Fortune on the back of his shirt at Old Trafford, and probably the last as he was released that summer. :(

**WARNING** If caught watching this video you will probably be called a gayer.

Foster doesn't look that much shorter than VDS. Carrick looks pretty stacked too. All looks like it has been filmed in a bad 80's horror-esque way.

Missed the whole first half. The second's just starting. Tried the iraqgoals stream but the above is better. Good to hear DeLaet's decent, with Danny Simpson coming back we shouldn't have to use so many makeshift back fours this season.

Would love to see us getting David Silva. Would probably want rid of Nani if that was the case, unfortunately for him.

Yeah, very decent. Delivered a good little freekick cross in from distance, hes one of the versitile little players with realy good vision and desicion making beyong his years. I've seen him a few times for the reserves and been quite happy with him. Heard he was doing quite well for Leicester last season untill he got injured too.

He was excellent for us, we want him back for the season I think, but apparently Ferguson really rates him and he'll probably be on the bench for your first few games I hear.

As good as hes looking at the moment, if he stays with us this season hes realisticly only going to get regular Carling cup play, it might be good for him to go back out on loan, depends how SAF feels about our depth of squad.

Berbatov just had a goal (what looked like wrongfully) ruled offside after a cracking shot saved from Nani, and Gibson has just had a belting long range shot (one of his specials) saved too.

Edit: FT: 2-0

Decent performance in the end.

I actually think our squad is currently stronger than last season with the extra experience our young players will have. Whether or not the players can collectively make up for the loss of Ronaldo is yet to be seen but in terms of depth I don't think there is a better squad in the league.
