What score is it, who scored, etc?

Actually which sites do you lot use to see live text commentary of matches, none of these seem to be featured on Sky or the BBC?

Not too bad a performance, especially against far stiffer competition than we faced in the far east.

Fabio was the stand out player for me. When you see the figures some teams are paying for decent full-backs the 5million we paid for both Da Silvas is increasingly looking like a complete bargain. The one thing that did worry me about the game is the way we struggled to control in midfield in the second half, it was just a little too reminiscent of last season. I thought Valencia had a decent first game though, bit of a cock up from the keeper for the goal but none the less he ran at the defense at pace and got his first goal to boot. Not bad seeing as it was his first game.

Oh, and Anderson scored

That goal was aces. The wall could have done better but there was realy not stopping that. If Ronaldo had scored it he would have been super pleased with that.

What time is the Bayern v United game on today?

EDIT: Its 7:45 pm BST

Just realised Valencia was number 25 yesterday, isn't that Danny Simpson's number? I think hes back from Blackburn now. I guess he'll be leaving or going on loan again this summer. I remember his first senior game for us, he was great, made a goal and almost scored. Seems a long time ago now, and of course the twins have come into the main setup. Shame realy, he looked like he would be a decent right back for us.

He played against Luton for the reserves on Tuesday but yeah, i'll be very surprised if he's still at United come the start of the season. As you say he looked promising when he played his first few games buts ince then he's stalled a bit really and with Rafael now one of the first choices for the position he's unlikely to get much of a chance.

Dunno if it's been mentioned, but our new Away Kit has been launched. It's actually pretty sexy.

Anyone got a sopcast channel for the footy?

edit: Got it! Same as yesterday.

It's ok, it's just a shame the blue stripe isn't red. I might have bought one otherwise.

Why are we still sponsored by AIG? Anyway, I never know that these games are on. Stream link;

Oh, and Baumjohann is playing, the greatest player in the world. Well, according to pro evo, five years ago.

Yeah he looked very good. If Wes Brown get injured again (and besides I've always seen him as more a CB) I would've thought we'd want him back. Neville isn't an option for me, not with teams who have pace.

Nani's one was amaze. He took about 1 step of run up and basically curled it into the top corner as if he were shooting in one of the those get the ball through hole games. Couldn't have gone any closer to the corner of the frame.

Looks like Nani is going to be playing a lot more this season if minutes on the pitch pre-season are anything to bo by.

Anderson hasn't missed one before either. Unlike the British young lads these guys never seem to let the nerves get them in shootouts.

Valencia looked good again today, as did Bertbatov and Owen, quite a few good points to look forward to, Rooney looks a little bit off the pace though atm I think.

I thought our wingers have done pretty well in pre-season so far and although you'd still like to bring in that kind of quality I suspect Ferguson is more concerned about our midfields (in)ability to control a game still.
