Are you sure he actually broke his leg and you didn't imagine it? :(

Maybe, it sure looked bloody wierd and looked like a break. Haven't been able to find it in highlights so it was probably not that bad. :blah:

I watched his goal against Villa the other day and was filled with sheer joy. What a moment. People were doing laps of the pub, there was chaos on the roads after with people dancing in the road. Then I watched complete highlights of the match and remembered it was Ronaldo that dragged us back in to that match and I felt a bit sad. Nobody could single handedly turn a match on its head like he could.

Exactly what I was thinking, not just was he amazing to watch, he scored loads of goals and so many were REALLY IMPORTANT goals. :blah:

That Villa goal was a delicate finish off his weaker foot which went in off the post if I remember correctly?

These strikers are filling their pre-season boots now Ronaldo isn't doing all the goal hogging. I predict far more goals will be scored this season than in last year's Crissy Show.

In comparison to Owen's hot streak, Tevez is currently injured.

Owen has looked very good in all the games hes played. Obviously the opposition isn't exactly Premiership standard (Seoul weren't too bad). Berbatov too has been great. I'd like to see some more Kiko action in the 2nd half though.

I've always said you'd be much better off when he left.

Both yourselves and Chelsea are looking very good in pre-season. You're teams with a set, well practiced, way of play. In comparison we (City) look just as disjointed as we did when things weren't going our way last season. It can click for us, we had excellent home form last season but I don't think we've got a set way that we play or a solid enough base to hold us together when things aren't clicking.

Obviously I'm hoping Hughes can get something together before the season starts but for me it's just a case of praying the front guys hit it off quickly and we get some good buys to organise the defence.

Just noticed Foster is on, Fergie was talking about him again today in that interview, saying he would be the England GK at thw World Cup, if he means that then surely he has to play at least 2/3 of the games this season?
