Now it is finally over I will offer my final congratulations. We went on an amazing run and made a fight of it (which is all I wanted, not to give you number 18 easily) but you held off and deserved the title. Be warned though, we are a much stronger team than we were last time we finished 2nd. The race to number 19 will be a rollercoaster and a half.

Congratulations again, from a disappointed but very proud Liverpool fan.

And this after his celebratory dance last year. Hell, he even danced on the spot after taking a penalty in one of the shoot outs. He is my current idol.

Shame Tevez is resigned to going. Top man.

I'm fucking wrecked. My voice is gone, I've hugged around 300 people I don't know, started almost every chant (my Fergie mask started the otherts) and I'm completely exhausted. Amazing scenes. Started at 9.30 this morning, heading back out in a few mnutes.

I fucking love Manchester United.

It's not like there aren't millions of fans of all persuasions who don't grow up in the exact boundaries of the city of the club their families support. This is hardly something unique to Utd but clearly you just came in to start an argument with your shit-stirring comments. Take your bitter whining elsewhere cheers :o

It's in Greater Manchester, so you're alright in my book. Just like people from all over Merseyside support L'pool.

It's people who have no ancestry or connection (grew up/lived in/worked in) to the location of a club that bemuse me.

I used to live near Burslem. I aint supporting Port Vale. No chance, and that was from a time when they used to give Stoke City a run for its money. If you have 2 or more teams that are considered local, it shouldnt matter which one you support.
