Ronaldo might be a cracking player, but what an absolute cunt, bitch, whiny motherfucker. Fergy obviously knows what he's doing, so shut the fuck up you twat.

Nothing that hasn't been said a million times already I guess.

Question for the United faithful.

At Liverpool we lack a backup striker, one who can fill in other roles if needed, so that he isn't just sitting on a bench game after game after game. Ryan Babel didn't step up like he should have and will hopefully fetch us a minimum £5m. Yossi can do a job in any attacking midfield position, Riera can be good if he finds form and Dossena seems to have found a new position as an attacking left sided player. Right side is pretty much Dirk's with Gerrard & Torres they 2 main men upfront plus N'Gog if ever needed. Alonso, Mascerano, Lucas cover the center of midfield, plus Gerrard can drop there if needed. Right back is a bit of a problem if Arby gets injured, Left back is covered in Aurelio, Insua and if needed Dossena. Center back covered in Agger, Skrtel and Carragher.

So my question is this, Liverpool maybe need a covering center back but feel we can follow usual tradition and grab a bargain from somewhere. Our entire budget could be spent on a striker who could play anywhere in attack. How would you all feel about Tevez if we stumped up the funds for him? Would you blame him for moving to Liverpool and join his Mascherano? What sort of response would he get coming back when we next meet?

Personally I would love us to sign Tuncay, but that would mean offloading someone like Yossi and I really don't want that to happen.

You can't stop us signing him can you? Not if you don't stump up the cash to buy him yourselves.

Not trolling or anything, just genuinely interested as I like Tevez and we aren't the most unrealistic choice of destination for him, should Fergie not take up the option.

Yeah, was a bit childish but I assume he will play on wednesday now. Might aswell go all out against them leaving us needing only a point from our last two games.

Anyway, pretty much everyone had a decent game today;

Rafael - For someone who looks like a lightweight south american football with an afro he is suprisingly strong with an added dose of tenacity. Once he gets his positional play sorted he can make that position his own.

Vidic - The guy is a ball magnet in the box, would be interesting to see the percentage of balls into the box that he gets too first.

Fletcher - Has matured no end this year and actually looks to be taking on a greater responsibility by commanding the midfield. Certainly today you could see him trying to organise other players.

Berbatov - Lovely holding up the ball and some absolutely sublime touches.

Everyone else was excellent too but I felt they deserved special mention!

I would also like to say that I was derided in here and other threads for suggesting that it wouldn't be your typical derby game and we would win it relatively easily :)

City were pathetic. Even if Everton were in thier worst run of form in their history they would put up a decent fight in the Merseyside Derby.

I did read about some Liverpool fans thinking he could play on the left/right of a front 3 (instead of Riera maybe) and I think that would be daft. Tevez can hold the ball up and run at players but he can't cross for shit. At the end of the day he's an excellent player and would probably fit well as a Torres substitute when he was unavailable but I don't think he would fit in well with Torres/Gerrard (unless Gerrard sucks it up and plays on the right!).

You probably need a Solskaer style player (who doesn't!). Someone who is versatile enough to play on the wings and up front.

Tevez going to Liverpool is out of the question. He'd be an instant villain and whatever he did at Old Trafford would be forgotten. He can't go on and on about how much he loves the fans and then do that.

I don't want him to leave, but if he had to, then i'd rather it was abroad. Same as any good and well liked player, we don't want to have to play against him, be it Liverpool or any English team. But also, how would you like Torres to move to United?

But its not up to us.

Gerrard is amazing on the right, but is a spoilt brat. Would love to have an Solskaer type :) I shouldn't like him, but I did like the baby faced assassin.

Looks like Iniesta has picked up an injury today and could be missing from the CL final. Massive loss for Barca and massive bonus for us, partly as you can nearly guarantee Fletcher would have been the one marking him.

Seems fair enough, if they let Fletch play then Barca might get a little annoyed because their appeals were turned down to. It's not really about if the descision was wrong, is it? Never would be. Real shame for the lad too, one of our best performers this season.

I think only Mourinho and SAF would be capable of containing Ronaldo's immense ego right now. Hopefully in the next few years, he'll realise he's in his mid-twenties and that acting like a petulant child is no longer acceptable. At least his work-rate's up, if he looses the ball he acts as if he wants it back.

I suppose with regards to Ronaldo's childish behaviour, at least it show he wanted to play. It doesn't seem to be the reaction of somebody who wants to leave at the end of the season, does it?

It is a shame for Fletch, but like you say, if they reversed the decision for us, everybody would be at it. What they need is a rethink on some of the rules and get them in place before the start of the season. Not that it'll ever happen mind.

Thread has been a bit quiet since the City game!

Our reserves retained the Manchester Senior Cup last night with a 1-0 win over Bolton with Tosic scoring his first goal for the club (albeit via a large deflection). Tosic’s performances have gradually improved since he’s been at United which bodes well for next season and should give us yet another option on the wing.

Tonight’s game should really be a banker, especially the way Wigan have been playing. And despite every Liverpool fan moaning about how Bruce will ‘bend over’ Wigan’s results against the big 4 have always been poor and with Zaki and Kirkland missing it should reduce the threat at our end while increasing the chance of a goal at the other.

I really would love to tie the title up before Liverpool play next, partly as it might give West Brom a chance to catch them off guard and make the relegation battle a little more interesting. It’s also worth noting that if results transpire we could end up with a situation where both Hull and United require a draw on the last day of the season, can you just imagine the outrage from the Liverpool fans should both teams put in a lacklustre performance :(

If Wigan decide to make a game of it, we'll have our work cut out I reckon. Hopefully, going on our current form, we'll make short work of it and have the game put to bed.

This is United though and they've never been ones to do things the easy way.

As a L'pool fan, I fear that Wigan have already got the bucket and spade out.

I hope Ronaldo's distracted as much as this tonight:

My TV box has gone and died, repair man isn't coming out till tomorrow which means I can't watch the match.

Any of you kind folks have a weblink I can use. Not sopcast or things like that cause they don't work on a Mac.

Thanking you.
