Thought he was doing a decent job, although probably isn't fully fit yet.

I'm very nervous.

Yeah, he looked a bit tired by the end of his stint. Did some good work though, like you say.

Our defense looked considerably more solid than the previous month so that was a definite bonus.

Rooney's defending helped a lot tonight, he was the difference.

Anderson was good too, still didn't score off his bum though.... ;)

And with such a lovely goal.

Porto battled hard in the second half but their finishing completely deserted them today.

We looked a lot more assured tonight, Rio back in defence made a big difference and our attacking had a lot more purpose to it.

Arsenal next round!! Tough, tough game.

Evra didn't look great... we should give Fabio a run of games, he's a very good player and deserves it if Evra looks a bit tired/jaded.

Anderson's passing wasn't great, but he did some good runs and certainly helped Evra out at times. Carrick looked miles better than the other leg, maybe it is playing alongside Fletch that doesn't sit well with him. Great goal, good performance, I never thought we looked too troubled anyway. We had players tracking back, not giving any space or time on the ball to their players which is good to see. Great team performance.

Rio and Vidic back together and the defence is solid as fuck once more. Huge night for the rest of the season. Now if Sir Alex can just forget that he paid £30m for Berbatov so we can get the attack back to last year's level.

Berbatov did really well holding the ball up, it's no coincidence that they started to attack and press more once he went off as we had a poor out ball.
