Interesting team selection

Foster

Da Silva - Ferdinand - Evans - Evra

Park - Fletcher - Gibson - Nani

Giggs

Ronaldo

At least that's how I assume they'll line up. Tevez and Vidic on the bench, Berbatov rested altogether. Evra, Evans and Nani all back.

Nice to see Ronaldo playing straight through the middle again.

The first dive after 4 mins, not given by the ref. Spot on!

They've just shown the replay. LOL.

Derby looked like they might do something 'till the first goal went in, then they resort to the long ball up to Hulse every time? Giggs is class, definitely think his best position is behind the striker(s) nowadays.

Worse was the ITV commentary team stating this what what they should do. 'Forget about the midfield and play it long to Hulse'

Giggs was fantastic again today. I really think he should be used exclusively in the middle nowadays, he doesn't look nearly as effective when he's pushed back out to the wing anymore. His passing and vision is second to none. Compare to the busy but ultimately blunt Tevez.

All his best football this season as come from playing through the middle, usually as a central midfield role. Tevez should look at Giggs' performance and see what one touch football is all about. Then take it on board.

So some of my mates were talking the other day about a weekend in Europe, and being from Surrey quite a few of them are Man U fans (LOLZ), so we were thinking of trying to get tickets for the Inter game in Milan... Is this in any way possible? None of them are members or season ticket holders on anything like that. Ta.

Rooney to return for United

Sir Alex Ferguson has confirmed that Wayne Rooney will be on the substitutes' bench for Manchester United's clash with Fulham on Wednesday.

The striker suffered a hamstring strain during United's home victory over Wigan last month and has missed seven games.

It was thought that he could return for the FA Cup tie at Derby on Sunday but Ferguson opted not to rush him back.

The United manager has been pleased with Rooney's progress over the last couple of days and intends to select him in his squad to face the Cottagers.

"The plan is for Wayne Rooney to be involved tomorrow night and he will start on the bench," Ferguson told Key103.

"We have handled him in the right way.

"He is training now. His performances have been excellent and he is back to his best.

"The decision not to involve him on Sunday was a good one because he was able to train and that extra day has brought him on a lot."

Carlos Tevez and Dimitar Berbatov are expected to start up front as United look to open up a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League table.

Can't wait to see him back in action. A massive boost now if he can stay fit for the business end of the season. Tevez as stood in well for him in his absence but I think we've missed Rooney. An half hour run out tonight for him and hopefully 3 points to take us 5 points clear would be a bloody good night indeed.

Getting to the part of the season that I really enjoy now, bring it on!

Hey, I'm sure this has come up 50 times before, but are there any decent sites to stream United matches on? Currently in the states so don't really have any access to anything, and I really miss Match of the Day. :)

Also, to keep the topic on track, here's an interview with Peter Schmeichel about United's current defence: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/t...utd/7895343.stm

Fuck, I love that man so much, especially when he says "we" when he talks about United, obviously has a strong connection with the club. Why isn't he a pundit on BBC instead of that irritating Shearer bastard? ^_^

I'm pretty sure this will have been sold out for weeks now. I remember something on the news a while ago saying that it sold out imediately.

But yeah, there aren't many tickets you can get for United games without being a member, especially away abroad. So then you have to go the scalper option. Membership is only about £10 for the rest of the season though IIRC.

Next round? (hopefully) :)
