The old Man Utd Thread

Um. How long did I sleep for last night? Steady on.

I don't mean we've won it, far from it there's a long way to go and it's gonna be a hard road for everyone. I just mean the potential victory over Liverpool has just gotten sweeter. Benitez is sprinkling tasty toppings and drizzling delicious sauce over that number one spot.

Benitez is at it again questioning David Gills involvement on the FA board, despite there being at least 3 other people on the board from premier league clubs.

Quickly gave up on stating the facts, didn't he? Those kidney stones must have been real bitches.

class match yesterday, it should have been 5 at least. shocking ref decisions, but it shows the class of man u  lets go on a run and take top spot. to be honest ive said for ages that liverpool are never in it, its still man u and chelseas to win. as liverpool just drop too many shit points.

He really has won everything there was to win. That must be one impressive trophy room at home. Also, he's the first Premier League player to win it, which must be quite an honour.

Doubt he will sleep until he gets that elusive Johnstone's Paint Trophy winner's medal.

EDIT:

Torres Backs Utd to win league

Seems to be just reporting the status quo, but still.

Not sure if he's fit yet.

Guillam has decided to turn his attentions to Ronaldo now with apparent insider information that Ronaldo has signed contract with Real. It's borderline retarded iin it's effort to turn vague statements into fact which is then followed up by alledged financial details which my nan could make up. I suppose with Benitez's best efforts to unsettle one of their own strikers Guillam is trying to even things up.

I was a bit late to the last discussion about Ronaldo so i'll add this now. I don't think many people expect Ferguson to stay more than a season or two, if he equals Liverpool's league record and adds a third CL it wouldn't surprise me if he left at the end of this season. The only manager that I can realistically see replacing Ferguson is Mourinho and if any manager could come in and make Ronaldo stay at OT then it would be him.

Mourinho would be wrong for us though. He doesn't embody the 'attack' philosophy at all.

I don't disagree, who would be your choice? I think it is more in terms of character and also his age, he could be here for years.

so mourinho can stay a couple seasons win the league and then fuck off when we arent doing so well ><
