How is that not a red card for Romeu? It's a deliberate attempt to injure him. He knew exactly what he was doing, it's obvious. It's a textbook example of how to "do" someone in a game.

 

That's an example of officials not understanding the game.

Maybe one of those ones that looks worse in slow motion. Hard to judge the level of force. Given the ball is completely gone, probably a yellow at least. I haven't seen them use VAR to give those very often though.

That's frustrating.  Southampton deserved the point at least, and the delivery on the corner was fantastic.  Could De Gea have punched it?

Southampton deserved that, but the player coming on for Romeu winning it after we're reduced to 10 because of an injury sure leaves a bitter taste in the mouth. 

 

Still in our hands at least, and out of the current 3th-5th you'd take our fixtures over theirs.

By that point Romeu should have been off, for the sheer amount of fouls he had committed, then they injure our player, and get an equaliser...fuck that...they didn't beat us in open play...and they were diving and fouling all over the pitch...fuck southampton.

Maybe that's the wake up call we needed before the final 3 games. We win our last 3, we are in the CL. 

 

This would be such a huge boost making it in to the CL after appearing to be way too far away for majority of the season.

Fosu-Mensah rising from the dead is an odd one with Dalot and Bailly both on the bench. I also would’ve liked to Greenwood given the night off with Chelsea coming up on Sunday.
