The line counts as a part of the area that it is marking out.

 

That applies whether you're checking for a goal, a throw in, a penalty or anything else. In the case of the goal and throw in, the line is marking out the pitch, and the ball must have left the pitch to be either.

6-3, isn't it?  Bournemouth have only had the one disallowed goal, unless I'm losing count.

bah, Leicester are 3 up, and as we have conceded 2, we've not took anything off the goal difference of 9, which could be an issue if we win all our games, and leicester only lose to us
