Great half, but I get the feeling that there is a very good chance that the penalty decision will end up being very significant. 2-0 at half time and we're faaaaairly comfortable, but 1-0 against a team as good as City is precarious. 

 

As @Gabzy points out, the yellow card could potentially be a big problem too.

If it is the case that Mike Dean has said "I've seen it, wasn't enough contact", then get him over to the screen on the touchline to have another look at it. Don't just go "ok then boss" and let the game carry on with the wrong decision having been made.

The offside decision is kind of difficult to understand. It didn't look offside, but after the flag has gone up and everyone stopped it would feel weird to give the goal. I thought the linesmen were supposed to keep their flags down on the close ones for that reason. 

 

If it had been given it would have been De Gea's fault though. He got away with one there.

The referee has always been able to overrule offside decisions though. Play doesn't stop until the whistle, if the goal had stood it would've been completely our fault (not just De Gea - the whole defence seemed to ease off once the flag was raised).

James does really have tunnel vision. There's been a couple of times where he's been bombing down the right, and hasn't looked up early enough to see an easy pass.
